There was also what looked to be a brick pizza oven in the corner, which made me wonder if the Fae had discovered pizza, or if they used it for something entirely different.
I went a little wide-eyed when a short woman fluttered into the room. She was around four feet in height, and darted around the kitchen with enough speed to look a tad blurry. Her skin was a very light shade of blue, much lighter than her charcoal eyes and hair. Her ears were long and pointed, but they weren’t the same shape as your typical Fae. They were a bit longer and narrower than my ears.
Adelina read the surprise in my eyes and giggled, “That’s Melia, she’s a water nymph.”
