The second trial comes in the form of a child. Her name is Mira, and she's eight years old with silver eyes that glow too bright and dreams that manifest whether she wants them to or not. What brings you here so early?"

Well—everyone, except the Luna and her Alpha husband. "You think you can defeat me?" Mira sneered, her voice dripping with pure hatred. "You're nothing but a pathetic little girl playing at being something you're not. I will never ever let you rest." Kira tried to curl up into a ball, protecting herself from the blows, but Mira was relentless. She kicked Kira again and again. "Stop... this madness Mira," Kira begged as she slowly began to rise up from the ground.

Amelia's Point of View Torrens Incorporated was a family business in every sense of the word, so there was no way Albert and I could pull off this charade without his family knowing about it. That was why I wasn't worried about convincing Andi to go shopping with me. Margaret was out that morning, and Andi's schedule was flexible enough for her to take a few hours off to help me. Mira said suddenly, stopping in her tracks. Stephanie blinked. “What?” “I can make the maid and the warrior sleep together,” Mira said, her voice quiet but her mind filled with wicked thoughts. “If they make me an heir, I’ll promise them money. A future. Then… I’ll kill them.” Stephanie’s breath caught. Then she covered her ears. “Luna—what the hell?”

~Miwa's POV~ I walked through the dark forest, I was surrounded by thick fog, I could barely see ahead of me, I spun around trying to figure out where I was and how I could get out of here. 'where on God's green earth is this?' I wondered aloud as I moved forward blindly, I walked for a reasonable distance before sighing and lowering myself to a seating position in tiredness, pulling my knees up to my chest, I lay my head on my knees and shut my eyes, contemplating giving up and just waiting right here for whatever was going to happen, but a strange feeling tugged at my heart, pulling me to move in a particular direction.

He looked over his shoulder to see Miras' face contort with pain as she struggled to get to her feet while she cradled her belly. He released a howl that was brutal enough to stir Clove out of her magic-induced slumber. ~MIRA!~ He couldn't control the passionate rage that lined his voice. ~We are fine.~ She replied as she fought to keep her voice level. She spread her arms at her sides with her palms facing up to the heavens and she cocked her head back. ~Tell me when he is four feet away.~ ~Mira... NOW!!!~ As she twisted her arms, a rush of wind encircled Tober, slowing him down. He lowered one side of his body, taking one step at a time, and trees sprouted from the ground, enclosing him.

Mira said, feigning a scared expression before bursting into a loud booming laughter. " I want to push you too far, too far that you won't think about coming back again." Mira said, her voice dropping and threatening. " You should have stopped when I told you to but what did you do? You kept pushing me over and over again. Now you are warning me not to push your limits? Too bad, I currently like doing the opposite of what I'm told." Turning to the bodyguards accompanying Lucia's, Mira Instructed," Boy's, prepare the Queen for her first ride down to Haven." Her voice held mischief as she enjoyed the horrified expression on Lucia's face.
