Kira begged as she slowly began to rise up from the ground. Mira’s growl echoed through the whole arena, vibrating through the walls, which made the air rattle around us. She was relentless now, her wolf looked as if it was being pushed against the barrier of her control. Her strikes were sharp, too precise, but it was full of anger. Every movement felt like a bloody warning. And that meant only one thing— she was ready to end this.

They knew better than to stand close when shifters locked up like this. Mira stood on the polished stone in ripped jeans and a yellow top I had made her buy. Her eyes were not brown. They were silvered at the edges, wolf-slicked. Her wolf rode high but did not take her over. She was breathing hard and steady, like she was trying not to shake.

They all looked so confident and capable and I felt like a joke standing there. Mike was waiting for me near the center of the field along with a woman I had seen around the pack house but hadn’t really spoken to yet. She was tall and athletic with long dark hair pulled back into a ponytail and warm brown eyes that seemed kind. She smiled when she saw me approach. “Silver this is Mira,” Mike said gesturing to the woman. “She’s one of our best fighters and she’s going to help with your training.” Mira extended her hand and I shook it hesitantly. “It’s nice to officially meet you Silver. Mike’s told me a lot about you.”

A traitor to my kind for refusing to serve the darkness he brings." Fiona stepped forward, her healer's instincts overriding caution. "She's losing blood. Unlike the other Shadow Wolves I had encountered, her aura seemed to be fighting the darkness rather than embracing it—like someone struggling to throw off a heavy cloak.

Brynn asked her. Mira pursed her lips but shook her head after a moment of thought. “Then from this moment forward, you’re Mira Grace Anderson. You’re the daughter of Alpha Theo and Luna Brynn of the Dark Moon pack. What do you think?” my mate asked with a beautiful smile. Mira nodded excitedly and clapped her little hands. Unshed tears burned the back of my eyes. “I love it, Momma. Thank you.” She hugged Brynn’s neck tightly, kissing her cheek.

Adrian’s jaw tightened the moment Mira lifted the bracelet. She smiled slowly, a predator savoring the cornered prey. Her calm wasn’t confidence—it was cruelty. “She never took it off,” Mira said, rolling the charm between her fingers. “Not until she thought she was safe.” Adrian didn’t flinch. “Where is she?” Mira stepped closer, so close Adrian could see the faint scar on her temple—a mark from a life before the shadows. “You always protected your secrets,” she said. “But you forgot—people are easier to break than codes.”

Rian’s POV I was sitting on the edge of the window bench, watching a pair of sparrows chase each other between the trees when I heard the soft knock. “Come in,” I called, expecting one of the silent castle servants. But it was Mira. Her dark curls were pulled into a neat bun, and she wore a modest but well-fitted maid’s uniform, the royal crest stitched just above her heart. “Mira?” I stood, surprised. “What are you—?”

Mira spat, her voice dripping with venom "Do you think l will let you off so easily after sleeping with my man? Never” A smirk tugged at Jia's lips as she looked at Mira, a brief flash of satisfaction in her eyes. For a moment, she found a twisted sense of pleasure in seeing Mira go crazy. Mira had shot her and lied to Silvio.. to make him believe she escaped and died but Silvio didn’t know, she was shot by this woman.. here.. she didn’t want Silvio to know that she was Rosa or make him suspect.. and she didn’t want to live a life of revenge.. if not she would have made her suffer for causing her harm and her babies..

Mira said suddenly, stopping in her tracks. Stephanie blinked. “What?” “I can make the maid and the warrior sleep together,” Mira said, her voice quiet but her mind filled with wicked thoughts. “If they make me an heir, I’ll promise them money. A future. Then… I’ll kill them.” Stephanie’s breath caught. Then she covered her ears. “Luna—what the hell?”
