Their mounts were Red Maned Horses, and they rode them so swiftly that the creatures moved with the speed of the wind. Their blurry figures were all that could be seen as they raced towards the land that every sane person raced away from.

But when the owner of the race course offered them a free tourism experience of the place, that is when things got riveting. Melissa kept sticking next to Oneil while inviting him to interact with the choicest horses from the stables to the field. Melissa was supposed to recommend an Arabian horse named Damian the Magnificent but the staff informed her that someone is already designated to have this horse today. “I’m sorry for that Oneil. I’ll recommend another,” Melissa said and they headed to the further parts of the stables where more horses are ready for the call of the daybreak. Melissa was a few more steps away from Oneil.

"Just giving him a slight push of speed and strength," Mila smiled as Rah placed the saddle atop the horse with rather difficulty. "What is this beauty called?" Mila asked, climbing on top and stroking the horse. "Sena," Rah informed, taking a step back from the over-excited horse. "Sena, now let's find your master," and as Mila pulled on its reins, the horse galloped forward, making her disappear into the night.

I looked for him when I went down. “He’s in the stable.” Linden knew I was looking for Cenric. “Thanks!” I could see the stable from where I stood in the foyer. My excitement took the best of me. I sprinted toward the stable. Cenric was talking to the caretaker when I arrived.“Babe, meet your horse.” He was holding the rope of the most beautiful black horse I’d ever seen. Arabian. I opened my mouth to say something, but I just ended up staring at the horse. I touched his mane, down to its body. It was already attached to the saddle. I climbed up, and the horse did not even move.

"Ti tréchei?" A girl maturing sixteen appeared from nowhere. Her pale figure glowed greatly exactly like the horse. Her pixie–cut, grey hair gleamed with smoke escaping from it. Her eyes were light yellow and half-opened— looking down at the horse. Behind her, were a pair of huge black wings. Each side had red, shining marks changing their forms in a minute Amethyst dug into their beauty. Tiny horns were hiding magnificently under her hair. To Amethyst's surprise, the horse stopped struggling and stood up without hesitation.

Parish teased unabashedly. Harmonia was dumbfounded. Dimas chuckled and redirected the conversation. Mr. Parish then voiced his curiosity, “Many witnessed Firefly falling ill in the stable. Young lady, how did it still manage to participate in the competition?” A horse that was ill would find it challenging to even take a few steps, let alone dash. Yet Firefly did not look ill even though many people had witnessed it falling ill in the stable. Harmonia smiled faintly and said truthfully, “It’s all thanks to Mr. Martinez. I asked for his help to find a horse that was almost identical to Firefly before the competition.”

But Mira truly felt like a breath of fresh air to him. What he didn't realize was that while he turned back to study the archery grounds with the same intensity as her, Mira's gaze had already shifted and settled on him instead. Fool. Such a fool of a man. So easy to deceive that it was practically effortless. Suddenly, a figure caught her eye. In her sight, the man sat tall atop his horse, holding something in his hand, yet not touching the reins. The horse, obviously wild and untamed by nature, was inexplicably obedient beneath him, docile as a lamb.

"For the first game, we will be playing polo. The second game, we will play poker, and the last one will be announced later." We changed to the appropriate attire and I kissed the side of Miracle's face before we went to the stable to get our horses. Each of us has our own designated horses, while Norman and Mark had to choose one. I mounted my horse and smirked when I saw how Mark struggled a little before he mounted the horse he chose. "Everything all right? Are you sure you won't fall off, Mr. Reeve?" I asked in mockery, not caring if he did. "I'm fine." He answered through gritted teeth and pulled the horse's rein as if to prove it.

I asked. She rubbed her hand against her chin as she stared up. “Not really, but I did find it kinda weird tho but hey...” She grinned widely, “You’re here.” She took me round the stables as she introduced each of the horses to me. I smiled as we walked around, I came to a halt when I saw a white horse at the far end of the room. It swayed it's long hair beautifully. “That’s Micha.” Ruby introduced and I staggered.

“You haven’t seen any like ours, mister. Ours is special.” Tom and Rich stared at her, then past her to the sheltered structure. They looked closer: Miracle, a hand-stenciled piece of plank declared above the pen’s door. The snowy-white snout prodded at the wire, letting loose a snort. “White buffalo,” Jodean told them, and Richard’s daughter inhaled again with surprise. “They’re magic,” said Katie simply, looking to the smiling woman. “That’s right, sweetie. Some people believe they are magic.”
