“I am not going anywhere. This war must stop, now.” Bozo chuckled. Kachi had broken out of his hiding place and was running towards them. In his hands was the rein of Bozo’s black stallion. A horse he had named, Ghost, some few days ago. “Take her to safety,” Bozo grunted and took the rein from the commander, “Make sure her injuries are attended to.” Kachi nodded and tried to take Ejima, but the woman would have none of it. “I said this war should end now.”

I mutter and move towards the stage at the end of the cafeteria. Diana grabs my arm and yanks me backwards into a tight hug. “See you soon,” she says quietly. “See you soon,” I murmur, offering her a reassuring smile. I walk up the stairs onto the stage and go up to the microphone. “Can I have everyone’s attention please?” I ask loudly and a hush falls over the cafeteria. Hundreds of faces turn to me but then many simply roll their eyes and continue on with their conversations. “My name is Luciana Morgenstern and I know there are dozens of rumors as to why I have no wings but today I’m going to tell you what actually happened,” I say and this gets everyone’s attention.

“May I know your name?” He looked at me with a slight surprise in his eyes. "I’m Mizuki Ishikawa." “Mizuki?” I asked him. “So, that means you are Japanese.” “Why? Do I look Korean to you?” He smirked. “Well, surprise. Because I am not.” I smiled as his name lingered on my lips, “Mizuki.”

"Three hundred and fifty two years," she said sitting down as Ro sat next to her before she asked the kitsune, "You have three tails then?" "Yes. And no, you can't see my tails" Mizuki announced before Ro could ask. With a chuckle, Ro replied, "I know." The kitsune gleamed with acknowledgement. "Are you the only river kitsune?" Ro asked.

Mizuki said as she came out of her office that was located across from mine. Mizuki was five feet and five inches tall with skin the color of brown sugar. She had a feminine muscular form. I made her train since we started living together. I didn’t want to have to worry about her too much whenever I had to go away. She had lavender hair that went past her waist. I looked up into her light brown eyes and stopped in my tracks. From the look on her face she was already done working for the day. It couldn’t be that bad. Could it?
