Mindy grabbed her by the hair and dragged her toward the bedroom, ignoring her screams. "Percy!" she barked. "Come deal with her!" Percy froze, his face twisting. His arm was injured but not badly. Cyrus had aimed to cripple, not kill. He wanted them to rot, not die quickly. Percy could still move, though clumsily. He hesitated. "Mindy, that's not right. I really like her. How can I hurt her?" My biggest fear was that if they fought, they would lose. Damien and his warriors had come in with ease and stood perfectly calm in front of some of the deadliest Warriors there were. Percy's eye twitched, I had never seen him nervous or scared before so this sight of him broke my heart.
