Connor spoke in a low voice as if he expected someone to hear him. Pete had a nice smile and warm inviting eyes but when it came down to it he was a monster of the worst kind, Glory had a weak smile on her face as she looked to the house then the car that rested alone in the driveway. Like a sleeping beast dead to the world but with a simple touch could be rumbling in seconds. There were plenty of times that they wished for nothing more than to run away but they knew no matter how far they ran they would find them. “What would be the point? My life took some turned so fast that I wasn't even able to understand what happened. This world is dark and dangerous that showed no mercy to anyone. These monster who lives in this world are heartless. This is nothing less than hell. These heartless men are not humans they are monsters. The monster that has no humanity. This monster made this world hell. The silence is all I listened to in my life. This silence is all around me. Not a single voice just silence. A type of silence that will kill you slowly. A kind of silence that seems loudest than anything.

“You’re safe from other monsters.” My quickened pulse returned. “Other monsters? Are you a monster? Is Em?”

He attacked my mouth with a desperation that was almost violent, his tongue Tangling with mine in a dance of survival and raw, unadulterated hunger. "You stayed behind," I sobbed into his neck, my fingers digging into his shoulders. "I thought you were gone." "I’ll never leave you, Sienna," he hissed, his hands moving over my body with a frantic, erotic intensity. He stripped the silk robe from my shoulders, his mouth finding the sensitive skin of my throat. "The ocean couldn't take me. The fire couldn't take me. I am the only monster allowed to haunt you."

Even though all I wanted was to cry. “Again!” he roared, his hot breath bashed against my face as he screamed, “One tear, one lash” I screamed back loudly. “What are you?” he demanded, “A monster” “What are you?” “A monster!” “And what do monsters not do?” “Monsters don’t cry” I yelled as loud as I could. “And why don’t monsters cry? Tell me beast, what’s the rule?”
