The Day She Stopped Waiting

The Day She Stopped Waiting

His warriors fighting below. And above them— the monster. The creature filled half the sky. Darkness poured from its body. Every time the King struck it— blue light exploded. Every time the monster attacked— entire buildings disappeared. Then suddenly— the King leaped. Actually leaped. High into the air. His spear pierced the monster's chest. The creature screamed. The entire island shook. Then Peanut cheered. Immediately. "Go king!" Honestly? Everyone felt the same. Then the monster swatted the King away.

10 chapters in and I hope it’s second chance book. I love a good “leaving my shitty husband for a better man” plot but sometimes I love a good “I need to get my wife back” plot as well. Sometimes I want to read about how a relationship was pulled back from the brink and I feel this is goi to be it.

Marked and forsaken

Marked and forsaken

” They break out in a roar — sharp, wild as a storm break free “They say exile breaks a wolf. But we know better. Exile builds the kind of strength the sun cannot see — the kind born in hunger, in frost, in blood — the kind that never asks for permission.” The chorus rises again, louder, vibrating through the clearing. “If they call us monsters,” I raise my voice, “then let us be monsters with purpose.” A thunderous cry answers — “Yea! A-a-a!” “If they call us forsaken, then let them see what the forsaken can do when the moon answers our call.”

Taboo Runs Wild

Taboo Runs Wild

The scent of men who had already used their toys. My thighs pressed together out of instinct, trembling as I thought of what was coming. Of the men they said came here. The Monsters of the North. The beasts who didn’t just fuck—they destroyed. The ones who were said to knot a girl so hard she couldn’t walk for days, who split cunts and left them dripping with seed like trophies. The goddess should’ve struck me dead before letting me end up here. And then, Suddenly— The music stopped. The pounding, screaming, filthy bass went dead all at once, like the world had been yanked out from under me. My breathing was all I could hear, shallow and ragged under the blindfold.

The Book of Deceive

The Book of Deceive

Silently he left the den, walked until she couldn't see him and started a cheerful song: "Over seven streams, Over seven streams, Over seven hills, Over seven hills, I'll go, I'll go, A monster to slay, A monster to slay, His yellow eyes I'll see, I'll see, For you my dear, For you my dear, A monster to slay, I go, A monster to slay, I go. For her fur coat, For her fur coat, A monster to slay, Hi-ho dear, a monster to slay I go,

My lover is a Monster

My lover is a Monster

Her heart ached as Elizah turned her gaze out the window. "I’m sure the perpetrator wasn’t Liam. The police caught the wrong person, Julie. I don’t want to live like this. They let the real perpetrator walk free while Liam is imprisoned!" Elizah’s voice was heavy and filled with anger. Julie fully understood her sister’s feelings but could do nothing except try to calm her down. Julie fell silent, recalling something: "monsters." Yes, Elizah screamed "monsters," meaning there was more than one perpetrator. "Monsters. What do you mean by monsters? Did you feel there was more than one person?"

MARKED BY MY MONSTERS.

MARKED BY MY MONSTERS.

I can hear the fast rush of water as the blood forms into different parts, creating this monster. I can feel it in my veins, and I can feel something too wet and sticky in my panties. My toes curl as I press my legs together. "You did it." Jaden whispers, his voice breaking the tension. I reopen my eyes, and in front of us is... A monster. It's small, not exactly mighty and strong like Jaden's and it's about to wither, it falls to the side. I think my magic is not strong enough to keep it lasting for long. The monster starts melting. But I fucking did it. "I created a monster!" I shriek in excitement, laughing so hard that I spin around and throw my hands around Jaden's neck without even rea

MONSTERS: Adhira

MONSTERS: Adhira

There's no fear in him, and it's like provoking her more. Her breath becomes heavier, and soon enough, a shill holder dominates the whole realm. All village, all kingdoms, heard her cry of agony. Audra looks at Donovan once again, before they all disappear in a heavy mist of ice and fire. "In this realm, we are the so-called monsters. But now, I pity you, for the real one has just been awakened."

The Monster's Nemesis

The Monster's Nemesis

“If there’s a single scratch on my body, the entire Chicago would know what kind of monsters you all are.” “When the time comes, you will meet our monsters first,” I snarled. “Keep your empty threats to yourself, Dominic.” She narrowed her eyes. “They don’t scare me anymore; in fact, it’s boring and repetitive.” “If there’s anything worth remembering about you, Sophia, that is, you are an attention-seeking whore. We know the video is fake, and you are desperate. Get to the fucking point. NOW!”

She's The Queen - Book 2 of Calypso's Story

“Who calls my name so boldly?” “So, you are her then? Yahaira?” Vera asked. “You called me by a name you weren’t sure I’d respond to?” the woman asked her. “The name is coming up a lot, and there’s always monsters involved. They even called your name,” Vera told her. The woman pulled a face. “Monsters.” “Yes, monsters. We don’t know where they come from, but there’s monsters everywhere. They’re fast, and they’re killing other species,” Vera explained.

Origins: The Luna City Trilogy

Origins: The Luna City Trilogy

The ghastly fumes seep around us as the raging storm above churns the deadly concoction relentlessly; pushing bursts of toxins and iron towards us, allowing the unwelcomed putrid scents to climb their way up my nostrils before rolling down chokingly into my lungs, inhabiting their entirety while I hold back the urge to splutter in discomfort. The defending wolves growl in unison while they recede backwards, their eyes casting sparks as they band together while the scuttling creatures gather into a swarm of destruction, crawling out from the alleyways and shadows while menacingly closing in. Flooding with panic, I look around in alarm as terror courses within me while I struggle to find somew

How often is the update on this book? It says on the title “Trilogy”, are there 3 separate books or 3-in-1? Coz some authors include Books 1&2 on 1 book altogether before declaring it as Completed. I just want to know if this 93 chapters now is still far from being Completed and I have to wait long
