My Monster

My Monster

A monster? The moment we step onto the grounds, the smell hits. It's the smell of copper and rot and something disgusting. My stomach lurches. Kira swears under her breath. Isaiah's jaw tightens as the backup soldiers fan out, their boots silent on the snow, their weapons drawn. Then the chanting reaches us. It's loud enough to vibrate in my bones. My hand rests on my stomach, my palm flattening over my bump on instinct. 'Please,' I think desperately. 'Please be okay.‘

Okay so I won't lie, I was tempted to stop reading at one point. I felt it was going slower than I like, and I didn't understand why this super strong tribrid was the way he was. BOY WAS I IN FOR IT. I'm glad I didn't stop reading. That twist was.. WOW. Was NOT expecting it. I enjoyed this story!
Katrina Hofstadter
I loved this book and am looking forward to reading more from this author and the next book of this saga. The author doesn't leave an question unanswered or unnecessarily drag the story out. The ability to keep the continuity of the story from beginning to end, was spot on. A great read!

When Monsters Mate

When Monsters Mate

Different instincts, Same hunger. Then, softer now, he said, “There’s more at stake here than politics and bloodlines, Leonidas. Something older is stirring. The Fae have gone silent. The witches are... watching. Our enemies multiply in corners neither of us can see.” “So you want a leash around the storm,” I said under my breath. “No.” He shook his head once, deliberate. “I want to point it at the right enemy.” I stood. My height towering over everyone in the room.

My CEO mate: Divorce made me his

My CEO mate: Divorce made me his

I hate how it doesn’t sound like a joke. Because that’s the problem with monsters— Sometimes they’re the only ones who see you clearly. And they use it to their advantage. I don't even know why I'm not screaming and crashing tf out right now.

Conqueror of the Seven Empires

Conqueror of the Seven Empires

' At the corner of the place, there's something lingering around with malicious eyes. ***************** Manila. In the place where a cry of battle is happening. In the place where deformed dried ashen rocks are all around the area like the area has been engulfed by lava. Countless blood spilling out from here and there. In the middle of the bizarre place, there are thousands of humans fighting against something. That something can be called by one thing, monsters. Monsters cannot be defined through science or even heard from any tales or myths. These monsters they are facing are the embodiment of darkness, their faces cannot be clearly seen even when the sun is up in the sky.

Nightmare

Nightmare

Finally I stand, all the monsters stop whispering to one another and the backyard falls silent. “Hello monsters today is the big day. If any of you would like to not do this please step forward.” I see many of the younger untrained monsters step forward. “Well since you do not want to take part in this you have to do all the chores and if any of the monsters die today. You will forfeit your lives.” I hear a loud whisper from one of the young ones and I realise that they don’t believe we will be able to successfully complete this mission that I have created. “Thrones!” I call as I recall the name of the monster that just whispered. “For that I am sending you as one of the participants in this

He's Not the Alpha

He's Not the Alpha

I assure him sillyly, clinging the pelt against my chest. There's a loud bang and screams that sound loud abroad, the earth beneath our feet trembling as if there was an earthquake. I glance at Grayson, who's equally as blank as I am, both of us rushing out to gage the situation. We're both stupified at the disasterous scene at hand, my mind unable to to process the puzzle. "What...what are they?" I inquire of Grayson, hand gripping tightly to the door frame as I watched the monsters tear through our home. "Are they rogues?"

To Love A Monster

To Love A Monster

It can't hurt. I take a moment, my throat doing that thing again, making it fucking hard to swallow. To breathe. It's the only lit candle in the place. Apart from Father Emiliano and his sister, no one comes here anymore. I try not to think about that, about her being alone up here, and walk back outside. I go to the edge of the cliff to the stone marking Mom's grave. It's a kneeling angel, wings spread wide, head tilted down, watching over her. She always said angels were everywhere, watching out for us.

Make Way, The Real Alpha Princess Returns!

Make Way, The Real Alpha Princess Returns!

They moved with an unnatural, jerky gait, their eyes glowing with an otherworldly energy. Lennon took down the first monster with a swift kick to the chest, his claws flashing in the dim light. Alpha Luther followed up with a crushing blow, his massive paws swiping through the air with deadly precision. I darted between the two, my agility and quick reflexes allowing me to dodge the monsters' clumsy attacks. My claws sliced through the air, striking true again and again as I wove between the enemy ranks. But despite our best efforts, the monsters just kept coming. They seemed endless, a tide of twisted flesh and razor-sharp claws that threatened to engulf us.

Her Worst Nightmare

Her Worst Nightmare

There's a monster at my door. I hear it all the time. This hissing of its breath. The scratching of its claws. Rapping its knuckles on wood. Knock, knock, knock. There's a monster at my door. It wears the face of my mother. It wears the face of many. It smiles to deceive, to trick, but its teeth are needles, razor-sharp and tipped with poison. I see them. I see. There's a monster at my door.
