When they were roaming the desert, when they advanced and launched their arrows towards the worms the sand monsters pierced their hearts, when they charged towards the warriors, with their screams, before dying, due to the spell in which they launched towards every monster in their path that advanced towards them. When it took a while for the spears to pierce their hearts, these creatures disintegrated like red crystals, leaving an acidic trail in their wake. As they both reached the gates, until the last man came in their way, in which they cast the spells towards the gate which was a great wall covered with snakes, monsters and thorns. They were excited as they quietly had gone to their van, entering it cautiously without making any slight noise and left the chaotic scene behind. That was the time they can finally exhaled a breathe and breathe a sigh of relief, extremely nervous but full of joy because of escaping successfully by the wandering monsters sight. Down the hill, a battle was raging. Not soldiers and rebels. Not anything human. Real monsters—grotesque, impossible things straight out of every horror movie I’d watched in the last century. Hulking beasts with claws like scythes, wings blacker than ash, fangs glinting in the light. They tore into armored men who screamed and fought desperately, their blood turning the sand dark. “No…” I murmured, shaking my head. “No, this can’t be. There must be a mistake somewhere.”

“That thing is able to do that huh. I’ve never encountered it directly before, just passed by or seen from far away so I didn’t know. I have, however, seen some monsters that are capable of causing such conditions.” “You mean the pressure thing that I just felt?” “Yes, it’s similar to how people release a high concentration of astra or mana. Monsters in general can do so with their presence alone. Like, they don’t even try to do so, it’s just natural. Some monsters are able to focus that presence onto a certain target.” “Oh, I see. Good to know.” Matthew said. “Kraah!” A soft high pitched roar came from behind them. The raptors had returned to them.

[Narrator's POV] A long time ago, there was a group of male sinners, also called cursed humans, who had been altered by the Gods to transform into evil giants with fur-covered bodies, bull-like heads, and tails. These monsters, born from the arrogance of man towards the Gods, came to be known as Minotaurs or the Monsters of the Labyrinths. Five of them found themselves trapped inside the confusing structures created by Poseidon, where five pairs were currently walking through. "To kill is to live" was their belief, and they eagerly awaited the arrival of the defenders to satisfy their hunger.
