Vlash immediately look behind him and he pull his sword from his waist as he grab my hand and we run but I can see that monster running after us. “Vlash there are two.” I utter seeing another one running after us coming from the side. “We have no other choice but to face them.” Vlash said after we stop seeing another one in front of us. Being sandwiched into three scary looking monsters I have no choice but to pull my sword and hold it firmly on my hands. “Be careful Riri they are magical monsters. Don’t get too close to their mouth, they spit poisons.” Vlash said as we stand side by side.

I let the pain, the raw sorrow, and the desperate plea for my mate rise to the surface. "People of Astria," I began, my voice cracking before finding its strength. "You have been told to fear the dark. You’ve been told that monsters live among you, waiting to tear your world apart. And you’re right—there are monsters. But they aren't the ones with fur and claws." I took a shaky breath, a tear finally escaping and tracking down my cheek.

Dozens of monsters were vaporized instantly, their bodies dissolving into ash. Those stationed on the walls and watchtowers, privy to the towers’ full might, watched in stunned silence. Each time a beam of light erupted, it was a symphony of death, a testament to the raw power harnessed within these structures. The monsters, though decimated, seemed unfazed. Their relentless advance continued, a tide of fury that threatened to engulf the city. A chilling wave of dread washed over the defenders as hundreds of monstrous figures began scaling the city walls. Their clawed hands scraped against the stone, their guttural roars echoing through the air, a symphony of impending doom.

I am free. Suddenly the birds let out a collection scream and flee. All the creatures turn and look at me, like it is all my fault the peace has been interrupted. They pull away and disappear. I look after them, feeling upset and lost. What have I done for them to reject me ? The sky goes dark and it is like the World is holding its breath. I know what is going to happen. The monsters are approaching. I look around at the ring of trees around me, my eyes searching for them. This time there is no sign of the large one, I now know it’s a hamram, possibly it is Luca. Only the smaller one shows up.

It was too late for them to realize this when the monsters suddenly appeared one by one, attacking them and picking them up to put them into their stinky mouth. Too late for them to regret to get greedy even just by this ordinary rain-no, this was not an ordinary rain at all- well, it was not a miracle to being with, but a curse so it can also be called as not being ordinary out of the normal rain they have encountered where it hit themselves but would not cause any pain to themselves. It was too late for them to realize, because as they wanted to go back to their own house, the family and relatives inside would not even open the door for them to take a shelter on from this monsters claws.

It was dark, and I couldn’t make out any figure except for six pairs of red eyes glowing in the dark. “Oh, moon goddess! Don’t throw me to the devils. I swear I’ll never curse you again” I beg silently, my gaze fixed on the red eyes. I retreated two steps as the nameless monsters began to move in the open. I commanded them to halt in a quiet voice, hoping it would do the trick. I tell the monsters, "don't get near me or you'll regret it." I had nothing to defend myself with, so I looked silly and sounded foolish.
