It was too late for them to realize this when the monsters suddenly appeared one by one, attacking them and picking them up to put them into their stinky mouth. Too late for them to regret to get greedy even just by this ordinary rain-no, this was not an ordinary rain at all- well, it was not a miracle to being with, but a curse so it can also be called as not being ordinary out of the normal rain they have encountered where it hit themselves but would not cause any pain to themselves. It was too late for them to realize, because as they wanted to go back to their own house, the family and relatives inside would not even open the door for them to take a shelter on from this monsters claws.

Hodor has led their way. The light from the sun has filtered through the high window. The pattern that it creates revealed one huge indescribable monster imprisoned in the cage raised a meter above the ground. On the left side is an array of huge iron cage stuffed with numerous monsters. Most of them have huge sharp teeth ready and hungry to devoure anything; few got wings, but all of them are large monsters that could squeeze a house into the ground.

Now they know that the rain would not bring them any miracle at all. It will be forever deemed as the day they were cursed by the god to their greed. Because, It was a call from the monsters. Their call for their hunger. It was too late for them to realize this when the monsters suddenly appeared one by one, attacking them and picking them up to put them into their stinky mouth.

This scene was more like a celebratory festival devoted to monsters hunting for their prey. I ate the red berries Tuyul gave me while gathering energy. “Monsters! Go away!” People threw various objects at the monsters. Some used their swords to slash the monsters, but their movements were still slow so the monsters regenerated. “Help! Help us!” A mother snuggles up to protect her daughter. The two of them were cornered by several monsters that came to them in one of that houses. “Begone,” I stomped on the ground, then made a circle. Zzap! Pwak!

I said, only a little sarcastic. “The only monsters in my house are you and me, and I can’t fit under your bed,” he said in a bland tone. “Har-har.” I mocked him. I didn’t want to think of myself as a monster, even if I was. “The most common in this particular city are Demons, Gargoyles, Vampires, and Witches. Werewolves do roam around here every now and then, but they like more open space for when they shift,” he continued like there had been no banter between us.

His eyes were coated with something. Instead of leaving, she leaned closer, scrutinizing his pale face. “You've been poisoned,” she muttered, making Rael's back stiffen. Poisoned? It couldn't be., he thought, yet the feeling in his chest intensified. At first he thought it was just blood lust, but as the feeling in his chest multiplied, he realized something was indeed wrong. Had he really been poisoned? How could she tell at a glance? She pondered on something before muttering, “Wait here, I'll be back.”

“Yeah. And why do I feel like this sand was annoying?” “Huh?” “Oh, no! Be careful!” Light exclaimed and rested on my shoulder in vigilant. Following that, we all stop moving abruptly and scan our surroundings vigilantly. And the thing I’m worried about suddenly appears in groups. It’s not just in groups, but an entire army of disgusting monsters. The ground shakes and right in front of us, a monster shoots out from the ground. Then more and more shoot out like tentacles. No, they aren’t tentacles. They’re sandworms! And they’re colossal! Dammit!

But my grandfather sent me again to another school named 'HARRISON UNIVERSITY' A typical but high-end school congested with bitches, nerds, lovers, jerks, bullies, and the pathetic ones who love to see themselves bullied. Not until I started to see bizarre things, I never wish to involve with. 'Monsters'—that's what Harrison University has. From that day on, I learn that all things happening inside this campus are bound to each other. Too late for me to realize that these will lead me to the place where I can find the identity that I myself don't want to bring back.

"Is someone else helping Casper, and he's not alone?" Just as Maisie racked her brain and was filled with doubts, a snowdrift the size of a small hill not far away violently trembled, and it fell apart. Then, about four monsters screamed as they flew out. Blood gushed out of their bodies furiously, and it was as if countless metal needles pierced them. Soon, large swaths of blood sprayed everywhere, spattering numerous blood spots on the ground. Everyone's line of sight was immediately attracted to the scene. The next second, they saw dozens of monsters after the snowdrift exploded. These monsters made strange screams and roared angrily, forming a circle as if they fought against something.

The first rank hit the trap. The ground caved in. Snapping vines lashed up, dragging shrieking monsters down into the pit. Impaled on sharpened stakes. Crushed under their own weight. A wave of thick, coppery blood sprayed into the air. The monsters behind howled in rage. It didn’t stop them all. But it thinned their numbers. We ran harder. Hours blurred together. Each footstep an act of defiance against gravity itself. Each breath a battle. The sun — what little of it pierced the fog — began to sink.
