Rhea's Pov A wide open field stretched out before us, green grass glowing faintly under the moonlight. Fireflies dotted the air like living stars, drifting lazily around us. In the distance, a river reflected the sky, shimmering silver and blue, its gentle flow carrying the sound of water softly through the night. The stars above were impossibly bright, unfiltered by city lights, scattered across the sky in a way that made everything else feel small. “Oh,” I breathed. “Alaric… How…”

He begged and begged. He took his hand in hers. “Lily, Lily, talk to me!” He cried. Lily just smiled softly as she pushed her cold, pale head against Liam’s skin. “Warm,” was all she said. “CAN I GET A DOCTOR OVER HERE!” Liam screamed, voice still cracking like shattered porcelain. “NOW!”

she murmured leaning against him again, staring at the full moon that was already up in the sky, reflecting her beauty on the water below her. Lucas looked at the same direction, feeling his mother blessing them from up there. He couldn't be happier. And his life felt complete by just having Selena between his arms and his mother watching over them. It did feel like the moon was giving them her blessing somehow. And that was how they knew everything was going to be fine. And whatever they had to face in the future, they would have each other. And that was more than enough.

I followed the path, and soon it spilled out onto the Standing Stones. Seven stones stood in a circle, and mosaic tiles had been set in a circular fashion to the center, where the image of the Moon Goddess was etched on the center circular tile. The gray stones were illuminated blue in the bright moonlight. Everyone stood around the outside of the circle holding their candles.

The roaring of the Blood River’s wild current crashing into the rocks draws me from my sleep. When I open my eyes, I realize I’m laying on the grass. The full moon is lighting up the raging river and everything around it with an eerie glow. The edges of my vision seem misty for such a clear, crisp night. The ground is dry, but the air smells like fresh rain and lilacs.

I opened my mouth to tell him about it, but then small circles started forming around my index finger. The moment was calm, and I put my whole hand in the cold water. The surface of the water changed, it turned into a mirror. But there was no reflection. I saw the full moon on the surface of the water. Then it disappeared, and a woman appeared. I couldn't see her face. Her back was facing me. The hair...it had silver strands. The image went away quickly, and then fire....angry flames around a crib replaced it. People were running.

“If it moves and isn’t yours, I’ll make it trip.” Moon-low put a spill of silver on the water that made the old east bridge remember every story anyone ever told on it if it was a human. Iron sweat, kisses, fights and Sable. She arrived without drama, which for her was drama. Red hair damp with river air, wrists neat with nettle thread, bead strings looped over one hand like rosaries that had soured. She stood at the line of our light and shade as if checking whether the ground under her would behave.

Lyra's POV By the time we reached the other side of the river, the moon had shifted to its peak. Orion dragged the boat onto the bank and helped me step out. The earth felt soft under my boots, damp with river mist. We sat there, just breathing. The air here beside the river was thicker, quieter, more conspiratorial, as though it contained secrets. "It's almost 11," Orion said, looking up at the sky as though he could read the time on his palm more accurately than a watch. "We camp here tonight. Leave early at dawn."

I will do the stupid Hide and Go Seek in the woods. ‘Thank you. And Sugar?’ “Yeah?’ ‘Whatever happens during the ritual, don’t run and don’t fight me.’ ‘Excuse me?’ He doesn’t answer. I pace my room. The once full blood moon is starting to become a waning gibbous. I always preferred a waxing gibbous. My chest is tight and it feels as if something is trying to claw its way out. I look away from the window and instead sit on my bed and stare at the ceiling. I barely slept because of the strange feeling.

Ron, at one time when he had chased enemies of the blood moon pack had crossed the river and he so he nodded. " It is possible. It is not a deep river even though it appears so, it is not..it is definitely one that horses can go through and there is no doubt that Mike and his men are going to go through the water.. besides, we have searched all around without any trail of them,.this is the last place we have to visit before we go across the water." He explained to Robert. Carla was there too and she raised no objections whatsoever.
