Moon Slayer Chapter 1 Mga Nobela at Kwento

"They've been breached." Before I could respond, a flash of silver light exploded through my mind. A vision. A woman stood beneath a blood-red moon, her hair white as fresh snow, silver markings glowing across her skin. Thousands of wolves surrounded her, some bowed, others attacked. Fire consumed the horizon, mountains crumbled, kingdoms fell, and above them all a voice echoed through the darkness. “When the Moon's Daughter awakens, the forgotten bloodline shall rise. The Alpha shall kneel, the kingdoms shall burn, and death shall walk beside the bond.”

The light within her gathered — every shard of pain, love, and loss burning into a single, radiant force. Lucien’s voice echoed distantly. “Kimberly, wait—” She looked at him once, her expression soft. “Trust me.” Then she turned back to Mona. “You wanted to be the moon, sister. Now see what it really means.” She drove her blades into the ground. The world exploded. Silver light burst outward, swallowing the crimson storm. The temple shattered. The blood moon screamed, its red glow cracking into white. Mona screamed with it — her body fracturing, her aura unraveling in ribbons of smoke and flame. “No! You can’t—”

Her attention perked up as she stumbled into a particular chapter with a very particular heading. “The protectors of the Sun and Moon Child? Like bodyguards? Sounds interesting.”

Stripping off my clothes, I left them and my bag under a redwood tree, then I let Rose take over. "Let's run to our heart's content! Then we'll take a bath in the river," I said to her. Under the luminous gaze of the full moon, I felt an irresistible force surging through my being. My heart quickened with anticipation. Closing my eyes, I focused on the power within, embracing the ancient magic that coursed through my veins. It began with a tingling sensation, like a thousand tiny needles tracing patterns across my skin. My bones shifted, and a rush of euphoria washed over me as my human form started to contort.

Blaise watches with rapt attention, and Selene glances outside, where night has finally fallen. This time instead of darkness, she summons the moon – the same pearly light she glowed with the night we met in the alley. It spills from her chest, spiraling towards the spellcaster like a bullet from a gun. I cannot watch any longer when a trio of wolves bear down on me. Dispatching them quickly, I turn to my next opponents, tearing at their vulnerable underbellies with my teeth and claws, breaking bones, ripping flesh and striking them down without mercy.

As Chloe lingered in the glade, caught between the echoes of the past and the uncertainties of the future, she whispered to the moon, "Guide me through this, old friend." In the subsequent nights, Chloe's introspection deepened. The moon, a constant companion, illuminated the path forward. Each step became a dance with destiny. Jonas and Caleb, intertwined in her thoughts, represented diverging paths. The moonlit glade transformed into a symbol of choices, its whispers carrying the weight of decisions. As Chloe faced the unknown, she drew strength from the moon's serene glow, determined to unravel the complexities of her heart and embark on the next chapter of her extraordinary journey.

The sun couldn't hurt vampires, no matter how much pure blood was running in their veins, and the moon—which I had already seen in its full glow—seemed almost magical. By the time I finished reading about the first shifters, the beautiful silver globe rose again. Something about its light drew me toward the window. I stared at the moonlight for several moments before noticing something fiery falling toward the residence. A second later, the moonlight was dimmed by reddish flames as the sky filled with hundreds of flying, fast-approaching burning arrows. I moved away from the window. A second later, the sound alarm filled every corridor. The residence of Lord Malachious was under attack.

The moon stares right back at me. That’s the first thing I notice when sleep just won’t come. Up above the Alpha house, it hangs there—sharp, white, slicing through the clouds like a knife through skin. Moonlight spills in through the tall windows, lays silver stripes across the floor, across me. I’m stretched out in this bed that still feels foreign, nerves buzzing, my wolf shifting restlessly under my skin. I’m awake. Waiting.

Page after page spoke of ancient beliefs — the moon as mother, the sun as destroyer, the balance between light and shadow. Her eyelids grew heavy. The words blurred into one another. And before she knew it, she was slipping. ________________________________________ When Aurelia opened her eyes, she was no longer in the library. The world around her glowed silver — soft, endless, weightless. The air hummed with energy, and the ground beneath her feet shimmered like liquid light. Above her, the moon hung impossibly close — vast, alive, watching. She froze, breath caught in her throat. “What is this?” she whispered.

“You must bind your new self. Bleed it into the earth. If the Moon has chosen you, she must accept you.” Elira took the blade without flinching. She drew it across her palm—clean and precise. The blood that spilled was not red. It shimmered silver. The earth drank it eagerly. And the grove answered. --- A beam of moonlight split the sky—thick, physical, like a pillar descending from the heavens. It struck the circle’s center, sending a wave of heat outward. The Revenants hissed and backed away. Within the light, a figure formed.
