A simple statement started it all. A sweet private life turned into a storm of chaos and confusion. She never meant to cross a line or catch his eye. I didn't like the pity I saw in his eyes. “Go ahead, mighty Alpha, let's get it done with.” I provoked and apparently, it's all he needed. “I, Carlos Stanford, reject you, Cameron Walker, as my mate.” A softly spoken statement, which carried a lot of weight. Though I was only seventeen and couldn't feel the bond yet, I did feel my wolf retreating at the back of my head, howling in pain. Putting on a brave face, I muttered. “Good riddance!” I stepped past him to leave but stopped by the door when I realized I hadn't done what was expected of me. “I Cameron Walker, accept your rejection.” I smiled through the pain, giving a mock bow, and stormed out of the room like my ass was on fire.

In an empty white space a black haired boy with pentagrams in his eyes is laying in the floor looking at what looks like galaxy swirls. he swipes one of his hands and a swirl disappeared. " How boring " it was this very statement that lead to his journey in search of his memories

"You foolish bitch, do you really think you can marry Henry?". Her mouth curved into a wicked smile as she lowered her head to look at Ashley. "I am the real daughter of the head of the Browns. You will never become the bright and shinning flower of the Brown family" she let out a low snort "It would have been better if you end up like your stupid mother" she said with an evil grin on her face Ashley tighten her grip on her cloth as she heard Lucia's statement "You will never know what the drug you took was and what I have in stock for you. But one thing I'm sure of is that you enjoy your wedding night in advance" She then took out her phone, and dialed a number. "Are the two street ruffians I have arranged especially for my sister ready? Tell them to come here now." Ashley opened her eyes wide in shock upon hearing what Lucia had said. She knew that Lucia had never liked her. But she didn't expect that her to be this vicious. It seemed that Lucia wanted to drug her and found someone to rape her. Such a wicked woman!

“Please, don't kill me…. Please.." she pleaded, trying to grasp fragments of her breath as she stared at the lifeless body and pool of blood before her in fright. "Jason, she might be a good toy for the night, what do you think?" One of the men asked his colleague, stretching strands of his beards. "You must be insane. Have you forgotten the mission statement?" Jason asked and he scratched his head. "Pretty girl, I'm sorry" he said, squatting to the level of the girl who trembled on the floor. "Anyone who sees the hit, goes down with the target" one of them said coldly from behind and the next moment, a bullet hole was formed between her brows as her body convulsed.

My husband brings a pregnant Meryl Cleat home and lies to me, claiming that she's his stepmother. “If you think that you have been living in hell all your life, let me break that illusion for you,” Adrian said. He spoke slowly, his voice full of menace. “This place–this is true hell, right here, where I am.
