The closer we got to them, the clearer i can see. The rouges were holding bags, water bottles, fruits on their hands and seemed like they were in no mood to attack. They coukd be counted to more than fifty. They don't smell like rouges either. But they do have the stench of a newlly loner wolf that just left the pack. I look around and i see Pups, childern that were captured and striped of their wolves by Mitchl, walking around in the sun, sitting, regaining their strenght and waiting for a remedy to be found.

It was like someone was arguing over the toys. I followed the voices instinctively and spotted two identical little girls, dark hair tied neatly in ponytails, standing toe-to-toe over a dollhouse. “I saw it first, Mila! This is mine!” One snapped, the gray-eyed one. “You always take the good things first, Esme!” The other, with ocean-blue eyes, shot back. I couldn’t help but smile, strangely captivated by their tiny, fierce battle. They were wolf pups, arguing in the middle of a human store. Their scents didn’t suggest they were rogues.

“We’re going to hunt for the feast, will you be ok with Raven?” Ryder links, rubbing his face across my belly. I notice Raven approach her mates, who are now shifted into a giant silver wolf and an even bigger black wolf, while Mummo and Vaari hold all three of our pups. “Of course, I’ll be ok, go bring home something yummy to feed our pack,” I run my fingers through Ryder’s thick silky fur and kiss the top of his head. “I will be back soon,” he reassures, before licking my cheek leading several men and women from the pack towards the forest for the hunt.

I said dangerously. I meant it and I could tell from the fear in her eyes she knew I did. She nodded, trying not to tremble in fear as I turned and walked off. There was another bitch I needed to take care of. ----- I made my way through the pack grounds, stopping when I saw two pups arguing. They were barely 8 if anything. "What’s the fucking problem?" I asked. They both looked up at me, falling silent. These pups were Omega children and what irked me was that I could see whose son the one on the left was…

Sitting here sharing a peaceful territory meal with him felt completely surreal. "The young pups are sharp as steel!" Jeffrey barked out a laugh, his posture shifting as his mood swung toward excitement. "Not only did they inherit Grant's pure alpha looks, but they already have the tracking brains of the high line. Let me tell you, those twins are way more fun than their old man. They do not walk around the pack house with a frozen poker face all day!" Grant’s jaw tightened, a dangerous growl vibrating deep inside his chest as he shot his warrior a lethal warning look.

Curiosity sparked, the vet inquired, “What’s his name?” Axel’s gaze lingered on the happily playing puppy. “He doesn’t have one.” The puppy, engrossed in its newfound toy, displayed a charming distraction. As it frolicked about, the toy seemed to hold an enchanting allure, momentarily quieting the energetic husky. Then it hit him, the puppy was practically a baby but it didn’t have any toys. The woman, taken aback by Axel’s response, expressed a mix of surprise and curiosity. Axel, with a calm yet earnest demeanor, leaned in slightly and lowered his voice.

I yelled above the music, yelling out when pups started fussing. They all started gathering near me, some of them pouting and stomping. I told them to cut it out or I would shut their Christmas fun down. One pup, obviously an Alpha pup, around nine years old told me I couldn't shut it down because I wasn't the Alpha or Luna of the pack as he crossed his arms and looked at me as though he had put me in my place.

Other packs hesitated before attacking the drugged kids, but they dealt with them without mercy, incapacitating them, so they won't attack again. "Well, well, well, now look, what we Have here," came the amused voice over the speakers again. Everyone went into a standstill as if on cue. "So works for the famous Night-Fury pack. I do applaud you," it continued, "Now then, where are your Alphas, still hiding?" He mocked.

River gave one last kiss and hoped off Kydence’s lap and pranced to the room behind her mom. While the pups were changing and relaxing the others continued their conversations. “Did I see correctly this morning,” Kota started, “did I see two small balls of fur darting around this morning?” He chuckled. “Yup, Rebel and Ryder.” Blaze laughed. “They are our little troublemakers; they sometimes drag their sister into their mischievousness. Not that she sticks around for any of it.” He chuckled. “Wow, they can shift already.” Kydence asked with surprise.

R RATED I fill my days with interviews. Each family with a missing pup says the same thing. They put their son to sleep, and in the morning, he was gone. No signs of a struggle and no scent left behind. The other two packs are a little different. Clayton and Raven interviewed the pack to the East, and Tiff with Ryan interviewed the pack to the west.
