I murmured sadly. “You look a wreck. And it’s Monday already.” She mused, using her fingers to brush stray locks of hair away from my face. I knew I looked a wreck. My car had broken down just a few miles away from my house, and I had had to take the damn bus, where everyone pushed and shoved like it was the end of the world or something. I rolled my eyes at her. “Long story.” I said, and started to walk towards the elevator that would lead to my office.

“You’d need a car.” “How about we shift?” I asked, suddenly feeling excited about my first shift. Maya laughed again. “Do you know how painful ones first shift is?” She chuckled. “Every single bone in your body would crack and pop and you’d feel your skin expand until it almost tears, your…” “That’s enough, Maya!” I said, horrified by the thought. “But how do I get there?” Maya was glad to help me out with breaking into a car and with the help of the internet, I was able to hotwire the car and get it rolling.

Focus. I looked up and down the road. There was nothing for miles. My only options were to either wait here for someone to pick me up—an option that gave me the creeps—or hike it back to town and hope that there was a tow truck. I groaned as I remembered that there was no car repair shop in the town. So, even if there were, by some small chance, a tow truck, there wouldn’t be anyone to help me with the car once I got it back there. My luck was just getting better and better.

~ SIENNA ~ Channeling my most optimistic spirit, I turned on the car again but after a few spurts, it wheezed and stayed dead. Twice. Thrice. I gave up. After locking all the doors, I frantically reached for my phone and dialed Margo. She didn’t pick up. I tried two more times before opting to leave a voice mail. “Hi Margo. I’m very scared. My car broke down on the road from Harry’s company. I’m stranded on Interstate 9.”

He asked. "He went to the accident site with Robert and August. They will be here soon." "What happened?" "She called me saying something was wrong with the car. He opened the hood of his car until thick smoke came out of its engine. I was humbled by the amount of smoke that came out, "Why is it smoking?" "I don't know! What a disaster that it's going to break. It's been three years but I know it's going well." "How's that? Maybe we can't leave now." He was shaken as if he couldn't believe what had happened, "Dang it! It just really broke here in Tagum City!" He closed his eyes, "Maybe we'll just leave with them tomorrow at the Bus and I'll just leave this thing to Dad. He'll take care of it since they'll stay here in Tagum City for a week."

Gilda would call it destiny. So idiotic. My car had broken down in one of those so-called unsafe neighborhoods and I was pissed while waiting for my driver to negotiate over the repair of the car. We had barely made it in there by chance and naturally, the mechanic saw the nice car and my outfit, thinking he could make a huge profit out of us. Leaning my head onto my fist while sitting on a creaky plastic chair, I was thinking about granting him all the money he was asking for out of necessity before coming back for him during the night and draining him.

My car was still parked in the same spot. Thank God! I reached for the handle in a bid to pull it open, but the handle broke in my hand. Then I noticed the scratches on my car… The tyres had been deflated. My legs trembled before giving in, and I crashed to the floor, tears blurring my vision. I'm trapped here. But then, I didn't give up. I stood up to my feet. It doesn't matter how many miles I have to walk, as long as I get out of here.

Getting in her car she tried starting it but nothing happened "Damn this!" she cursed and stormed out "what now"it was irritating to know her car broke down "Madam do you need a lift…it's getting late"Janice left his car parked beside Monica's car. The glare the woman shot him would kill if it could "No" she would rather take a taxi than accept anything from him. However, things got complicated when the rain started pouring heavily and there was no taxi moving.

I came down from the car and walked straight in , just before I could get in to the plane, I pulled out the sim out and broke it . There was no need of me trying to proterct him again when he can’t even protect himself , I think that my services here is done and the earlier I realsed that , the better it was going to be for me . There was nothing more that I could do at this point , I just have to let them kive their life instead of trying to get into them , I didn’t want a thing to do with them anymore . I knew that living here meant that it had already ended .
