Lupu gestured for me to step inside the room, and as I hesitated, my eyes caught a disturbing sight: a creature resembling a wolf, but chained to the wall. Its eyes glinted with a wild, feral intelligence, and its fur was matted and scarred. I shouted without thinking, "What kind of wolf is that?" but the words barely escaped my mouth. Mr. Lupu looked at me calmly and replied, "That is no wolf, John. That is a werewolf," his voice steady but tinged with an ominous undertone.

“Who knew you were keeping such a deep secret?“ Janet asked herself. “That you are a dog lady. You can turn into a big ass dog anytime you wish.“ “A werewolf,“ I growled. “Huh?“ she cocked her head. “Not a dog,“ I explained. “A werewolf.“ “What is a werewolf?“ she asked. I sighed and rubbed my eyes. What was the point? “What is a werewolf, dog lady?“ She snarled, stepping closer. I snapped my teeth at her and chuckled when she jumped back, lost her footing, and crumpled in a heap on the floor. “You bitch!“ she shrieked. “I will bring you down. Just imagine what everyone will say when they find out that you are a dog too…“

Before them stood a young man, his face marked with exhaustion and anguish. Amelia took a step forward, her voice gentle yet filled with concern. "Who are you? What happened to you?" The man's voice trembled as he spoke, revealing a vulnerability within. "My name is Ethan. I was cursed to become a werewolf by a powerful sorcerer. This forest, once my home, became my prison. He had a lot of minions which he occasionally sent to the Werewolf territory but the Vampires were defeated by the Werewolfs usually because of numbers advantage.

And Peter immediately stabbed the syringe he was carrying, containing sleeping pills and wolfsbane herb. A herb that can effectively weaken a werewolf. But one dose of it is not enough to put Jax’s wolf down. So Peter immediately followed with two more pricks of syringes to the body of the wolf.

He started laughing at the wolf who was staring at him. “Turn,” Raphael said. The animal shook his head. Raphael pulled out a wooden stake and held out some leaves. He threw some silvery content at the wolf and it shrunk away. “Lolita,” Raphael said. The wolf’s body physically drooped, as if admitting defeat. I thought it was weird that he was talking to a wild animal and it was listening to him. Then I remembered the wolf at the mayors. Did the people of Arthforde keep wolves as pets?
