Novelas y relatos de Myth Stories

Fred said. Seth’s mouth dropped open as he heard Fred say all these things.” Goddess of death? That’s just a myth, no one ever encountered her, we were told stories about her when we were little and the story tellers clearly told us that she was a myth, coupled with other personalities.” Seth said.

“What stories?” “Well, um, you told…Geneva told them to me. The first tale was about a fairy that fell in love with a human. However, this human craved jewels and treasure and did not care about this fragile fairy. So, he persuaded the fairy to lead him to all the fairies’ riches. He stole it and never looked back, while the fairy, in her own heartbreak and guilt, lay down upon a white lily…closed her eyes and never opened them again.” “That’s awful,” said Grace.

Before there were doors between worlds, there were stories. They whispered from hearth to hearth and ship to ship— of wolves that ran like midnight wind, of foxes with nine tails and nine more tricks beyond that, of fae who looked like carved moonlight and smiled like knives. Humans loved those stories—as long as they stayed in books and bedtime. The moment a story breathed, the moment a pair of eyes glinted from a tree line or a shadow stepped out of the corner of a room, humans did what humans do best when they’re afraid.

Shayla resisted longer, peppering me with last-minute questions about whether clouds slept and if frogs had birthdays. Lucas waited until the others were settled before speaking quietly. “Can you tell a story?” Something in his tone—hopeful, vulnerable—unlocked a memory deep inside me. “My mother used to tell me stories,” I said softly. “Would you like one of those?” Three heads nodded eagerly. So I began. I told them about the moon that fell in love with the sea but could never touch it, about the brave girl who taught the stars how to sing, about the fox who tricked winter into leaving early.

"Okay we need to get down to business, what would the story be, why did you have to come and live with us? "Wait, why do I have to have a story?" "Fletcher knows that I'm a Mythical, but he can’t know that you or Gia are one too." "Wait, you said Gia is your Cousin, why does she have a story?" I ask, something about this Gia girl rubs me the wrong way.

“Do you like fantasy?” “Like dragons and Lord of the Rings stuff? No. I don’t think of the Greek gods as fantasy. I think of them as history.” He looked surprised. “So, you believe in it all?” I shrugged. “I don’t know that I don’t believe in it. I think you have to wonder where the stories came from. Every myth stems from something. What sparked the stories? And it is so elaborate. It would have taken a mastermind to just make up this whole world of people and give them each a story.”

“That does not count as a bedtime story,’’ Babybaby finally found her voice. “It is child,’’ the thunder god answered. “No it’s not’’ Babybaby insisted quite stubbornly. “bedtime stories are supposed to be a nice tales with happy ending, all bedtime fairytales are, like the ones Amaka used to read to me, this one is a stupid story.’’ “Babybaby hush it’’ Orchid started, fearing the frown on Shango’s face. “What is a fairytale?’’ he asked instead. “Well it’s the best story there is, a prince falls in love with a princess, a bad witch not happy with the arrangement pokes nose into the matter, the prince cuts her great big nose with his shiny sword, rides away with his love and everybody lives h

I roamed my big doe eyes across the dark surroundings yet I can not find anything strange except for the disarrayed arrangement of books on the gigantic shelves. I just shrugged and continued reading the page where I last off. It further elaborated that some of such tales give a story behind the meaning of suffering, others may be conceptual or theoretical various explanations of human origins such as how life was created and how the earth was formed. It expresses the beliefs and values about these subjects held by a certain culture from all around the world. All in all, there are millions of myths existing from different races and from different countries that tell the stories of ancestors

Zahra whispered, not minding to hide the fear in her voice, “But why had they set fifteen huts ablaze?” “I can’t say for sure,” Dodo turned her attention to Zahra, “But my mother told me a story of how the three Kingdoms, after hunting, danced around a campfire. You want to hear the story?” “No,” Zahra and Ginika said in unison. They were not prepared to hear Dodo’s unending tale. She would only end up telling them of how her great, great, great grandmother, told her great, great grandmother and her great grandmother, to her… Her stories usually leave one hungry and light-headed, or it would knock you out.

She gritted form her teeth. Abram move closer to stare at the legendary king and queen of Zhatiera and the ruler of all Khiones. They are considered as bedtime stories, a made up legend made to scare children from roaming at night or do bad things. Stories has it they were awful, evil creatures with horrible disfigured face and monster like body that could rip a person to shreds and even eat them when they are terribly hungry.
