The Last Thunder

The Last Thunder

Jai asked. Ruta nodded. The boy pulled up his right hand and folded his fingers as he counted. “At school we are taught about four Great Dragons that are still worshipped by many. The Wind Dragon, Lord Ventusien. The Fire Dragon, Lord Homura or some also call him Lord Ryuukyuu. The Earth Dragon, Lord Terranditu. And the Water Dragon, Lord Kaia Alani. Some call them different names, but these names are what the common people know mostly.” Jai noted their names in his head and nodded. Then he asked. “Is there any other dragons?”

A Prophecy of Crowns and Harmony

He shook his head and replied, “I assumed it was the same as wolves, honestly.” “It is, but it isn’t,” I said. “Clear as fucking mud,” he muttered with a smirk. “Shut up, fucker, I’m going to explain,” I grumbled, pushing his shoulder, but he just laughed. “Okay, well, first, you know dragons are only male, right?” He nodded. “Right. Well, since there are only males, we can’t reproduce with each other.” “Obviously,” he snorted. I glared at him, and he quieted.

The dragons unidentified Mate

The dragons unidentified Mate

George gritted his teeth, looking at the idiot in front of him. "It's not that easy. He is not a normal dragon. He is Drake Hamilton, the most powerful orange dragon ever born. No one can kill him just like that. Not even the dragon elders. Even if we complain, he has a valid reason to be there in the fairy world. So not even the dragon elders could punish him for that" George pointed out.

Really excellent story so far. Beginning is a heart-wrenching twist that creates a brilliant setup for resolution. Grammar has some issues but the writing is still far better than most books on GoodNovel. Writer struggles with telling rather than showing in active voice but that takes practice.

Author:Although I have not completed the book yet; I love it because the main characters ARE finally portrayed how it should. Characters are not falling for schemes, following true feelings, and their Bond. Drake, a true hero and mate finally with his head well placed on his shoulders. Great job!

DEAR EX, YOU ARE MY MATE

DEAR EX, YOU ARE MY MATE

He was the deepest thinker of all, so it is natural that he never misses a point. “You are right, Dad C. The first type of dragons who produce their own power are known as ‘Imperial Dragons’. They mostly use their spirit animal’s energy which is the hardest to harness,” I answered patiently but was interrupted by Dad Valen. “Xador ?! Is he one of them ?” he asked.

THE ALPHA'S REKINDLED BOND

THE ALPHA'S REKINDLED BOND

I said as she raised a brow. "I know you want to know what that is. Originally, those who had your mother's rank of dragon had a different name, which was known as Divroke. Divroke is an ancient word that means greater than the most powerful," I explained. "The name was used from generation to generation to identify such a dragon until our parents, who dearly loved gemstones, changed the name. Because of how my sister's dragon had an amazing fiery orange and yellow color at its tail, which looked like flames and fire opal, the name φλογερός was bestowed on her dragon, which is a Greek name that means fiery," I explained simply.

>You can be as strong as him or stronger my bub, it all depends on the people you defeat,< Queseon said as he noted that the temperature was warming up. >Oh alright,< Igris huffed and folded his arms. After a moment his eyes frightened, >What other dragons are there besides the Sun and Sea dragons?< Queseon raised a brow and looked down at his beaming bub then chuckled, >Oh my soul! Bub, okay, there’s the Sun, the sea dragon is also known as the water dragon and has a body longer than yours almost like uncle sea serpent. There’s the wind dragons, sky dragon, earth dragon, fire and moon dragons. Wyvern’s and shadow dragons too.<

Magnus: Dragon Lord

Magnus: Dragon Lord

Dilo growled, her words raspier than usual from the shock still coursing through her. “That was something I had yet to share with anyone,” Rex sighed, reaching out to put a hand on Dilo’s. “Not the way I wanted anyone to find out, but what Smarluuten says is true, while in my realm, I was soul bonded with a dragon. His name was Fafnir.” “You share blood with the son of the eldest?” Smarluuten breathed, his small eyes widening, one of his hands trembling slightly. “We must pay homage to the high bloods. I will make all arrangements.”

The Accidental Hybrid and The Betrothed

The Accidental Hybrid and The Betrothed

The three men trudge up the stairs. The group meets up in the Alpha's office. Luke makes himself comfortable on the couch. Jones is content to stand in the corner while Matias and Diana make themselves comfortable behind his desk. "ALPHA!" One of the pack warriors runs in. "A dragon is here. He is insisting on talking to Beta Liam!" Diana straightens her back. "Did the dragon happen to give his name?" The wolf guard nods. "Yes, he said he was a Celtic Dragon of Fertility. Goes by Drogo." Diana's eyes beam in hope. "Show him in at once."

I had to stand to even open the large cover of the book when I opened it more beautiful letters appeared to be writing by themselves right before my eyes "The complete collection of all Pendragon lineage" My eyes went wide as I felt the pages were warm to my touch all of the words in this book were about dragons, Not just any dragons every single dragon the protectors of Magic essence. Frequently Asked Questions

I get a thrill when I trace familiar dragon names back to the old myths — it's like following breadcrumbs through time. Some of the most famous ones come straight out of ancient epics: 'Tiamat' from the Babylonian 'Enuma Elish' is often portrayed as a primordial sea-dragon or chaos-mother, while the Egyptian chaos-serpent 'Apep' (also called Apophis in Greek sources) embodies nightly danger for the sun god. From the Norse cycle you have terrifying figures like Jörmungandr, the Midgard Serpent that encircles the world, and Fafnir, who was once a dwarf and becomes a hoarding dragon in the 'Völsunga saga' and the 'Poetic Edda'.

Across Eurasia and the Americas you see a dazzling variety: the multi-headed 'Hydra' and the vigilant 'Ladon' in Greek stories, the eight-headed 'Yamata no Orochi' in Japanese myth, the feathered serpents 'Quetzalcoatl' and 'Kukulkan' in Mesoamerican tradition, and the Persian nightmare 'Aži Dahāka' (often Latinized as Zahhak). Even the British Isles give us a symbol in the red dragon, 'Y Ddraig Goch', tied to Welsh legend. I also love pointing out lesser-known names like 'Níðhöggr' gnawing the roots of Yggdrasil, the Philippine moon-eating 'Bakunawa', and Vedic serpents such as 'Vritra' in the 'Rigveda' and in later epics like the 'Mahabharata'. Those names keep popping up in modern books, films, and games, but their mythic originals often carry meanings about chaos, protection, greed, or cosmic cycles — which is probably why storytellers keep borrowing them. Thinking about how a single name like 'Fafnir' can inspire an opera, a video game boss, and a tattoo makes me grin every time.
