The protagonist girl is innocent and doesn't know the world of werewolf so don't insult her for being naive, she just doesn't know. At first, you will see the male protagonist being cold and harsh toward her (not violence) but that's just his way of expressing his feelings. Overall, he doesn't know love and romance. Also, his name was Emilio right, well I changed because I felt like the name Max will be more like him.
