I place my hand on her back, trying to soothe her. "It hurts." She mumbles in between sobs. I move some of the hair from her face and can feel that she's running warmer than usual. She looks up at me, and her eyes are glowing purple. I take in a sharp breath, not expecting her to be showing any signs of her powers developing, but I give her a small, reassuring smile.

Ryu’s voice deepened. His whole body was covered in blood, his eyes glowing red like a true monster; even my father couldn’t make his eyes look so intimidating. “I am the Alpha; I am Ryu, and I am a predator who feeds on his enemies like prey.”

Then he said: “The powers in that eye belong to you. And only you can control it.” I stared. I blinked. “What? You already—” “No.” His voice dropped even lower. “It feeds off your power but you’re stronger than that.” Everything in me went cold. “What am I supposed to do now?” I asked, barely breathing. The spy swallowed hard. “He also had an oracle that belongs to the goddess.” he said. “If he goes on with the ritual to fully activate the eye, then the oracle will answer to him.” My heart stopped. Ava stepped back so fast she hit the wall.

My eyes met with his stormy raging ones—ones which looked like a war was going on inside them. "Your eyes.." I found myself saying. "they're so pretty," It was like magic, in an instant, those eyes fueling with rage dissolved in a blink. Dead eyes with no sign of life in them instantly boomed color, brown. My eyes widened as I realized. I had just unlocked Naren's real eyes color. He blinked. Not once. But twice. But enough for me. He snatched his hands away like my legs now burned him. He rose to his feet, a scowl playing on his lips. "I don't care if you hit them again," he growled.

I’ll wait. She stared at the message for a long time. Then she turned her phone off and tried to sleep. Sleep didn’t come easy. When it did, she dreamed of eyes, Ethan’s warm brown ones smiling at her across an airport terminal, and another pair, darker, watching from the shadows. In the dream she walked toward Ethan but kept glancing back, pulled by something she couldn’t name.

He tenderly brought her hand to his mouth and gently kissed it. Pain seared through my body as my eyes lost focus. The faces of my family blurred until I could no longer see them. I tried to move my arms to rub my eyes, but I was unable to move. Panic set in as I began to struggle. Finally, opening my eyes, James Cooper’s face came into focus.

He groaned. Steam had filled the room, so when I was finally able to opened my eyes, Waylon was barely visible but his black eyes were clear as day.

George asked. "Four," Ragnor replied. "Tell me what happened with each colour," George asked. "My purple eye glow gives me my flying ability; my red eye glow is when I am angry or thirty, my natural eye colour and a blue glow," Ragnor replied. "What happens when your eye glows blue?" George asked. "I don't know because the eye doesn't change to that colour often," Ragnor answered honestly. "Watch," George said, closed his eyes and lifted his head looking at the skies.

Tyr said something inexplicable. After that, his voice became extremely hideous and out of control, “Show yourself! The Eye of the God!” Rumble! Rumble! Rumble! Countless thunderclouds appeared out of nowhere and shrouded the sky. Those thunderclouds formed into a huge vortex at a speed visible to the naked eye. Then, in the center of the vortex, a massive eye appeared. That eye appeared to be human. However, if one were to stare at that eye for a long time, they’d feel as if they had been seen through by that eye.

Priestess Nehes was just in time to protect herself and the rest by projecting a shield of her own. The blue eye was so powerful that it could freeze a living thing that it considered as an enemy. No one knew about it but her—and her sister. **** Kent looked at Elise adoringly as she closed her two normal eyes while the third eye was open. He saw it emitted a silver aura that extended and targeted the snakes. They all perished into dusts in the desert sands.
