My gaze flicked briefly toward the fireplace, its flames throwing shadows across the room. Lorn scoffed, “Goddesses, huh? They're more like spoiled little princesses. We repeatedly warn them, don’t just vanish into unknown realms. But do they listen? Hell no.”
