"Yes, apparently, the Supreme Alpha decided this at the last minute. He sent messengers to other packs and shared the new rules on the bulletin board." Curious, we walked to the spot where the bulletin board was nailed to the wall in the middle of the courtyard. Several rules were listed, and as I examined them, confusion settled in my mind. "Wolves under eighteen can't compete? Only men can participate, not women? You need to be a skilled warrior and still not have found your mate?" I couldn't comprehend the logic behind these restrictions. "This is ridiculous. The New Moon competition was for everyone. Why did my father come up with these stupid rules?"

I said, with my voice booming around the walls of the classroom. "You are all to write a novel, the word count should not be less than thirty. Take note. You have a month and few days to finish it all up, no lazinees and no slacking. Just see it as another type of nanowrimo. So by next month ending, I would be expecting ebooks novels in PDF format, all of it should be sent to my email" I turned around swiftly, to scribble my email on the whiteboard. "I will be awarding the overall best of it all. Good day class." I said, dismissing them with a wave of my hand. They all moved out of the clsss with different expressions on their faces.

I swear that writer's block is a plague that infects all writers. But that's beside the point. The good news is that it looks like I'd be done with this manuscript by the end of the season. I also have to attend a book convention in Quebec, Ontario. It is from the 10th to the 12th of June, and I am very excited. Unfortunately, Vittorio cannot look after Nathanial while I'm gone. So I'm hoping to ask Josephina. Otherwise, I'd have to take Nathanial with me on the trip.
