"No way! Natalie's the one who sold her kidney," Evelyn snapped, shoving Natalie aside to inspect me. "She has lost a kidney," the leader confirmed. "Taking the other would kill her." Just as Evelyn's hand reached for me, Natalie cried out and collapsed, revealing a prominent scar on her abdomen. "Go ahead and take her to the hospital. She is faking to win your love." Evelyn flinched, rushing back to check Natalie's scar. "I almost fell for her trick. Don't worry. I'm taking you to the hospital now."

A burn of pain ripped through my face as she dragged the sharp tip of the scissors down the unscarred side of my face, engraving a thick line from my hairline down to my jaw. I screamed in pain as blood began to pour down my pain. "Rest in pieces, Renee" I lay there, feeling my life slip away, too drained to even cry. I may have lived my whole life with a horribly scarred face and been branded a monster, but that day, I realized that there were people worse than monsters.

scar. "I got this that very same night everything happened from a rogue attack. There were at least eight of them. I almost died." "And why are you telling me? Am I supposed to care?" "I thought it was the goddess’s way of getting back at me…I-I thought I was being punished...but I think it was her way of leading me straight back to you.” His hand drifted to the wound on his neck, finger gentle gliding down the length of it. “It might not matter to you now, but I didn't finish the ceremony, I couldn't mark Katya or have her mark me…hell, I couldn’t even look at her.”

ANIKA'S POV:- I looked at myself in the mirror one last time. I was hell nervous. Everything was perfect but the scar on my face was messing with the look. The dress and everything Adam had brought me, they were all very stunning but I could not help that scar. I just wished it would have gone. But I was not very lucky. I even asked the Celestial if she could make it go away. But she said it was permanent. Celestial was like a God mother to me. She was always nice to me. Whenever I felt lonely, I always went to her. She always made my pains go away. Gulping the nervousness down, I held my head high and stepped out of the room.

Especially if I'm going to be Luna here. I took a shower, hearing Brendon come in only moments after I got in to shower. He brought my products to me and joined me for a quick shower. I looked up into his eyes as he met mine and I froze as my breath caught. His eyes were back to their amazing blue. He helped me get my back as we washed up together. The shower was mostly silent as we were able to take each other in and explore our bodies. Alpha Brendon was fit- muscular. He had only one scar on his body and it was located on his back, near his chest. Wolves didn't have scars because of how we healed. But his made me believe the wound he recieved wasn't normal. I'll have to ask later about it.

Natalia's POV: Good question. What exactly did I want to know about Carlo? Well, I was mostly curious about the jagged scars on his right arm. They might have faded a bit… others were already covered with tattoos but they were still obvious and no matter what Carlo or the others say… I do know what I saw that night. I still shudder at the memory. The way he let the ade cut deep into his flesh, letting the blood drip down from his arm onto the floor.

“But it’s true, isn’t it? You’re here... with him?” The color drained from my face as I stared at him. I had hoped that I wouldn’t run into Nathan tonight either. I wasn’t ready for this. Nathan’s shock quickly turned to anger, his eyes narrowing as he took a step toward me. “You think you can just walk away? After everything, you dare show your face here, parading around like some... Luna?” His voice grew louder, and heads began to turn in our direction. “You should be dead!” Coral smirked beside him, clearly enjoying the scene unfolding before her.

I was Gavin Whitestone’s treasure for ten years. Then he abandoned me for another woman three times, and I finally saw the truth. I didn't love him anymore. I have three scars. Each one is named Gavin Whitestone. The first is just below my ribs, from a shootout two years ago. Sofia Bianchi ran out of a corner and took a bullet for Gavin. It hit her arm. Gavin sent every doctor in the city to her side, while I was left in a dark corner, pressing my hand to my stomach to keep myself from bleeding out from a piece of shrapnel.

"Nonsense! Don't worry about it. I just need you to eat. You know you'll get worse if you don't eat something." I didn't have much choice. I needed strength for tomorrow's work and since my wolf was already weak, that meant my wounds would take longer to heal. "Thank you so much, Lily. I don't know how I will survive without you." I muttered. "Yeah yeah you can't live without me I know." She dramatically flipped her hair and I laughed. "Rest well Scarlet. I'll see you tomorrow." And with that, she was gone. I started feeling cold and that was when I noticed that the small window in my room was open.

Natalie denied it immediately. Listening to Natalie, Lina said, "Okay, boss. I understand." Natalie listened to Lina's answer and then hung up the phone. Placing the phone on the bed, Natalie started drying her hair with a hair dryer. While drying her hair in front of the mirror, Natalie's eyes fell on the small scar on her neck. Natalie's body trembled in fear as she looked at the scar.
