The Alpha's Replacement Bride

The Alpha's Replacement Bride

Niamh and Damian raised their eyebrows at the little girl’s question. It was too frightening yet sounded helpless. It felt like a call for help. “Maybe you don’t know, Elle,” Niamh smiled at her. Damian grasped the little girl’s hand after he lost his patience. He smiled at her and continued Niamh’s words, “Our parents are the god slayers.” “So don’t fear a thing. We can slay any evil gods out there for you.” *** Midnight. These last five years felt like a horrible phantasmagoria. And it would finally end.

When Persephone Stopped Waiting

When Persephone Stopped Waiting

A woman leaned close to them, smiling softly as she smoothed my son’s hair. The boy was Eren, the child I had nearly given up half my life force to bring into the world. The woman was not me. I was Persephone, goddess of spring, queen of the Underworld, and Hades’s wife under every sacred law. Not long after, Nympha posted her own update on the social feed. In the illustration, my mother’s pomegranate brooch lay beside a small charm of laurel and asphodel, clumsily woven by a child’s hands. Beneath it, she wrote:

Legend Of Mixed Goddess

Legend Of Mixed Goddess

Now, they are in a quandary because Giselle and Marcus have no other offspring besides Arnanta. "Then I heard rumors of a prophecy that a goddess of mixed blood would come to save my people," he explains. "A goddess? Why is she called a goddess?" the girl asked curiously. "Because she was born of mixed blood. According to my people's beliefs, a person born to a wolf nation and a pure human is a goddess and a god. One day she will save the two nations from the cruelty of the vampires," he said. "Was there ever a goddess in the kingdom before?" Brizella was getting excited to ask.

The Huntress - Luna Eileen

The Huntress - Luna Eileen

“We are joined tonight by avatars of the tri-mother, our own moon goddess! Flidais (pronounce FLIH dish) be praised that they have chosen to join us!” Howls erupted from the darkness in response and my hand clamped down on Kiara’s eliciting a small squeak of pain. Flidais? He invoked Flidais, goddess of the hunt? I supposed that was somewhat fitting, though she was often depicted as being at odds with Brigit and Morrigan. As for Cernunnos, well let's just say he was often seen hunting Flidais

This take on the werewolf genre is great! The setting does wonders for the story and werewolves in general, and the author's writing style is easy to read without being boring. Definitely an interesting book.

Bloody nymph

Bloody nymph

“Going once, going twice sol-” “ A thousand grams!” A voice interrupted, earning gasps from the crowd. I swallowed the invisible saliva clinging to my tongue as my eyes searched desperately for who would want to risk that kind of amount on a cursed woman. “That’s ridiculous for a demon, a thousand-“ “She is a Nymph!” A man dressed in a cotehardie and black boots with a feather hat that almost covered his face strode forward. My breath caught in my throat as I stared at the devilish beauty underneath the hat. “A thousand and she’s mine,” he blurted, holding the gaze of the man who stood beside me.

After Our Daughter Died, the King of the Gods Begged Me Back

After Our Daughter Died, the King of the Gods Begged Me Back

When I got pregnant he was out of his mind with joy, and he poured half his divine blood into me because he was afraid my body wouldn’t hold the bloodline of a god. He set aside the business of the Council, and every day he came down to my little palace, laid his hand on my belly, and listened for movement. But the day Nia was born, the Fates appeared in my birthing chamber. “Mortal vessel, divine blood. Her fate is ill. If she stays on Mount Olympus, she will bring ruin to the whole divine world.” Caelum stood outside the chamber all night, and he didn’t come in to hold her.

The Legend of Amaryah

The Legend of Amaryah

Then as if that was not even dumbfounding enough, a shadow loomed over every person's eyes. A magnificent orange light rose from Amaryah's feet, and behind her, it stood silently floating. Its hair was so beautiful while flowing, and a delicate symbol was carved on its forehead. The spirit had its head down, eyes closed, and hands clasped in front together as it eventually influenced the temperature to increase. The Mist Mountains could be called cool, but that was only because most people who practice the arts of elements have some sort of personal temperature balancer. They would not feel too cold in winter, not too hot under the raging sun.
