High above the shack, a small, bird-like drone hovered silently. Its sensors were feeding a live thermal map directly to Nikolai’s HUD. Two guards were stationed at the front door, their breath showing up as small, rhythmic pulses of heat. They were armed with high-end assault rifles, their movements relaxed and careless. They had no idea they were being hunted. "I’ve got the one on the left," Nikolai said, his hand resting on the hilt of a specialized dart launcher. "Nikita, take the right. Use the sleeper darts. We need them alive for questioning."

Alicia pointed at the object. Nina pressed the button and the blue light turned red before it faded. "The device. I so much hate that guy who calls himself Jericho." Nina grunted though she was scared and almost asked herself why she removed it. Instead, she threw the device on the floor and stepped on it. She's going to make an excuse. She hates someone spying on her. Jericho's boys arrived and they glared hard at her which made Nina nervous. "Master wants to see you. Take your books and bag. We do not want to keep him waiting." The boys stretched out her bag and books they found on the desk.

The time was now 1:14pm and she could make out some movement at the glass door which opened as two huge Japanese men in black suits walked out, followed by another of average height behind them. She moved her sniper slowly to the right as the men made their way across the parking lot to their black sedan. Looking through the scope of the magnified glass attached to her weapon, she held her breath as the chest of one of her target’s bodyguards appeared on the crisscross mark, which was immediately followed by the bald head of the yakuza boss.
