Not Like Me
Aiden asks as he swings around behind me and places his hands on my hips and lips on my ear.
"You know damn well...that I need to break up with Zander. That still hurts me. Being lied to sucks," I yell while throwing an egg onto the floor.
"Hey, I get it. I was lied to my whole life about who my mother is. Not that it's the same."
"You win. I'm sorry...I keep talking about me. And you're over here confused about your upbringing. Sorry, I'm not trying to be a narcissist."
"Fancy words, for a surprising woman."
