In Love With The Lycan Alpha

In Love With The Lycan Alpha

And that was something he would never openly admit to. The sky was painted with shades of orange and pink as the sun slowly descended toward the horizon. The air was crisp with a hint of pine scent, typical of the dense forests that covered the western pack's lands. Tall, ancient trees with thick trunks and gnarled roots stood tall, forming a natural canopy that filtered the sunlight, casting dappled shadows on the forest floor.

FATED MATES IN THE SHADOWS

FATED MATES IN THE SHADOWS

The hunt was far from over. As I emerged from the forest, I spotted a majestic tree with branches that seemed to stretch out like welcoming arms. Exhaustion washed over me, my legs aching from the chase. I trudged towards the tree, my eyes fixed on its shade. Reaching the trunk, I collapsed onto the grassy ground beneath, my back against the rugged bark. I let out a deep sigh, feeling the rough texture of the tree's skin against mine.

Balance of Light and Shadow

Balance of Light and Shadow

I can start to hear the rumbling of trucks coming from a distance. I wait to see if my trap for that zone has worked. BOOOM Lewana mind-links me. "What was that? Them or us?". I chuckle. "That was us Moonlight. We are a fully functioning farm, so lots of fertilizer gets wet and needs to be written off the books". Knowing that side is safe. I focus on the North West. I watch the tree line and notice the unnatural rustling of the trees. Every tree is moving with more force than the last time we saw them. We all brace ourselves as they come into view.

A Contract With Mr Stranger

A Contract With Mr Stranger

The trunks of the trees were sturdy and strong, but the branches were slender and delicate, forming a canopy above that filtered the sunlight and cast dappled shadows on the ground. As Ivy gazed up at the tree in wonder, she saw that the branches formed a perfect heart shape, as if the tree itself was a symbol of love. The air around the tree seemed to vibrate with a gentle, peaceful energy, and Ivy felt her heart respond to it, as if it was being drawn to the tree by an unseen force.

GIVEN TO THE WRONG ALPHA

GIVEN TO THE WRONG ALPHA

It collapses into dust. The bones inside — the ancient Alpha — fall free. They don’t hit the ground. They turn to light. Green and gold. It shoots straight up through the stone, through the earth, to the new Tree above. On our comms, Sky gasps. “Wren! The D.C. Tree just — it just grew fifty feet! It’s… crying. Sap like tears.” One down. Eleven to go. Eli moves to the next tree. Then Draven. Then me.

The Last Thunder

He was only expressing what he was thinking. The unique thing Jai noticed from this forest was that the trees here are mostly the gigantic ancient trees that grew up to the sky. He ran and ran in the forest and he never saw smaller—normal trees in here. It made it hard to hide because he kinda have to run eight meters forward before jumping to the side to avoid incoming jaw lock.

My Stranger Mate

I won to feel his love. The place is super cool. The tree remained alive but its entrance, is actually in its trunk and had stairs inside. Well, to make it clearer the tree is almost as big as the hut. It's the biggest tree I've ever seen in my entire life but it's also the dwarfest on all the big trees. It seems to be as tall as a bungalow house.

Now I am inside the forest located south of Castalla city, which is about an hour's walk from the city itself. As I look around, the forest is filled with tall and massive trees. It's truly a pristine and well-preserved forest, showing no signs of human damage. The atmosphere here is quite cool, even though it's already daytime, probably around eleven in the morning. Only a little sunlight manages to penetrate through the dense canopy and reach the forest floor. The trees in this forest are incredibly tall and lush. If I were to describe one of the trees in this forest, it would be like a giant Sherman tree, standing at around eighty meters in height.

Leesa's Advent

Leesa's Advent

The two of them should provide enough protection to the back of our small column. As we hike down the slope, Kai’s head seems to be on a swivel, constantly moving back and forth, his keen eyes alert for any sign of danger on the ground or in the air above. Thankfully, we reach the cover of the woods without incident. Close up, the trees look even more gnarled than they did from atop the hill. Even the tallest of them rises no more than twenty-five feet into the air, with branches even more bent and twisted than the trunks. The canopy of leaves is mostly thin and sparse, with plenty of gaps that allow the meager daylight to leak through. I’m guessing the weakness of the sun keeps the trees fr

Second Chance Luna

Second Chance Luna

It would be a perfect tree for the kids to climb if it wasn’t in the middle of this creepy forest. The branches split and stretched out in every direction beginning around 4-5 feet off the ground, but every branch was thick and strong. Aleksandr could climb this tree without any fear of it breaking under his massive muscular form. I was suddenly captivated by the tree and moved closer to get a better look. The branches appeared to be two different types of wood, and there wasn’t any apparent pattern to how or where they changed.

I really love how it captures the thought pattern of two very different people. I feel the age and maturity of Aleksandr, while Rieka has the chaotic mind of an overworked, multitasking mom. (I can relate to her so much!) The novel is slow paced but not boring. I’m looking forward to more chapters!

I'm excited for more chapters... I love the characters, and the differences in what I see so far compared to other shifter romances. Hoping for quick updates as the story develops because I'm hooked. CJ Primer put me onto the book when she posted for her fans to come support the author ...
