Tilting her head back she shrugged off the thoughts, plucked out a tissue paper from the tissue box she wiped her nose clean before pushing the tissue lightly into her nostrils to halt the bleeding. Hurriedly changing into her robe she made out for the bathroom, bolting it from behind before walking into the shower stall, throwing the bloody tissues in the trash can. The cold water seemed to do more harm than good to her already tensed body but she carried on with her bathing instead.

I stood up and walked away from the table, my hand securing the towel around my nose. I sneezed hard, and felt a whirling sensation of blood rushing into my head which made me stagger, but I steadied myself with the help of the wall. My hand which I leaned on the wall covered my bleeding nose, while I had my other hand on my waist. Without turning to my doctor, I asked through the mind link, "Where's the restroom?"

*DAMON'S POV "Your nose is bleeding." I said. I was so surprised by the sight. Why the heck was she bleeding through her nose? She did not seem to believe me and then touched her nostrils to confirm. "Shit!" She swore before running inside to get tissue paper. She wiped it clean and tilted her head in a way that her nostrils were facing up, just to stop bleeding. I dropped my briefcase and had her sit on the sofa. I collected the tissue paper from her and cleaned her nostrils properly.

I needed to stop bleeding on the pristine white tiles. Like a puppet controlled by another being, my legs carried me to the shower. I stepped through the glass door, refusing to glance back at the bloody footprints in my wake. It was easier to clean the shower if I bled in there, so that's where I went. In my stunned silence, several moments passed. Minutes or perhaps seconds. The horror of my current reality dawned on me like a boulder falling onto my body and crushing me. Shaking violently, I leaned on the tiled shower wall.

They were about to go out and celebrate, but now what? He made it to the bathroom and slammed the door behind him. Never-ending. My chest beat faster but the flow from my nose was quicker. Unstoppable. I thrashed tissue paper soaked in blood left and right, filling up the bathroom with them soon. "It's not stopping. Why is it not stopping?" I snapped, grabbing a handful more tissue papers.

When she sat down, the towel fell off, and her wet hair hung on her shoulders. Blake felt angry when he looked at her wet hair. Her wound was bleeding, but she still ran to take a shower. It was easy to get inflamed if the wound was wet. If she waited for a while, she would be fine after applying a waterproof tape to herself and taking a shower.
