Emma pov I jerk awake. The border alarms blaring loudly pull us from a good sleep. "Em, what is it?"My brother rubs at his eyes. He is too cute as he snuggles up against me. I really want my men, but I stay calm for Bobby. "A border breach Bobby",I say as Jordan runs in looking scared. He looks at the windows as he rushes to the bed. "Fights are breaking out all over," he rushes to my bed.

As soon as we got to the border we saw wolves on alert but no actual fighting. “What the hell? I thought we were under attack.” I said. “I know. There’s a female vampire. She’s taunting us. She’s jumping over the border and then back again. We can’t actually get a hold of her.” Arlo said. “They’re playing games with us.” Dad said.

Hertor was there, as always composed, posture impeccable, gaze sharp. When he stood to speak, the murmur ceased. “There are hostile movements at the border,” he announced, his voice steady. “Raiders.
