June’s Pov I stood in front of the mirror in Blue’s apartment, slowly brushing my long brown hair until it fell in smooth waves down my back. My eyes kept drifting to the window, watching the morning light filter through the curtains. The city outside looked so peaceful, completely unaware of the storm still raging inside me. Blue was still fast asleep in the bed behind me. She had two rooms in this apartment, but last night I had crawled into the same bed with her. I just did not want to be alone. Blue felt like a real sister, the kind who would stay up watching over you even when she was exhausted. I did not deserve her, but I was so grateful she was here.
