MY CRUEL HUSBAND

MY CRUEL HUSBAND

His eyes widened in admiration as he carefully pulled out the novel I’d been reading—Charles Dickens’s Great Expectations. Before I could respond, Eleanor's voice from my phone hit my ear–I realized she had already picked up the call.

My Mate And My Revenge

My Mate And My Revenge

I could feel an intense gaze on me but i didn’t dare to look at the direction it’s coming from. I opened my book and started working, but that feeling didn’t go away, i was definitely being watched. Mr Isaac’s voice echoed in the classroom. “Winston Smith is the protagonist of which George Orwell novel?” I raised my hand. “Yes Miss Jenkins” “1984” “Very, very good Miss Jenkins, that is correct can you tell me what genre of book does Danielle Steel primarily write?” “Romance” “Excellent! What do George Eliot, George Sand and Acton Bell all have in common?”

Persuasion

Persuasion

Sir Walter Elliot, of Kellynch Hall, in Somersetshire, was a man who, for his own amusement, never took up any book but the Baronetage; there he found occupation for an idle hour, and consolation in a distressed one; there his faculties were roused into admiration and respect, by contemplating the limited remnant of the earliest patents; there any unwelcome sensations, arising from domestic affairs changed naturally into pity and contempt as he turned over the almost endless creations of the last century; and there, if every other leaf were powerless, he could read his own history with an interest which never failed. Maybe they could also focus on custom-made perfumes. “What?” Lily was confused. “Do you know who just called?” George clasped his hands and continued, "I don’t know if you’ve heard of the name of the actress who had previously won the Best Actress award, Eloise Neville. She was a superstar before getting married into the Tanner family.” Lily was surprised before admitting, “Yes, I’ve heard of her.” Not only had she heard of Eloise, Lily even knew about her relationship with Nathaniel, but…why was she calling them?

How many chapters will this book have I have already spent $40.00 and that could have bought a whole novel. The book is good but it doesn’t need to carry on forever!!! What is the last chapter? I wouldn’t have started reading it had I known it wasn’t complete. This disappoints me greatly!!!

I would like to give my opinion on when his eyes open…… the book is great to read, but I feel like I pay to read that’s okay, but now it’s like the chapters is getting shorter, I don’t want to start on another story when I did not finish the first one. Please let me finish reading this book.

The League of Rogues

The League of Rogues

Zehra turned the last page of the novel she'd found in Lawrence's bedchamber earlier that day. It had been so wonderful to find an engaging read. She had read some English novels before, but never these "Gothic" ones, as Lawrence had called them, for they were rare in Shiraz, the area where she was from. The adventures of Lady Isabelle had distracted her from her loneliness for a time, but when she heard the click of the door opening her heart leapt.

Ellery said. “Spoken like a true rich person.” That earned her another head-turn, but Ellery's mouth wasn’t quite as sulky as usual. In fact, Cole would even have gone so far as to say her expression was amused. “How do you know this stuff?” Ellery asked. “Georgette Heyer. Obviously.” “Oh.” She couldn’t see Ellery's eyes, but her tone suggested they were rolling. “Romances.” “What’s wrong with romances? And don’t give me some line about them being trashy or patriarchal or always having the same plot
