Why am I going to this godforsaken place in Florida again? Kyle Montgomery had been asking himself that question since he'd landed in Tampa the night before. Why couldn't his parents have decided to open a new hotel there, in a metropolitan environment? Tampa had much to recommend it as far as shopping and entertainment venues and a whole selection of tourist activities. He'd also done some research and discovered an abundance of conventions were held at the various hotels each year.

Part One: Raw Edge of Danger Tampa, Florida. Home of the Tampa Bay Rays baseball team, the Lightning hockey team, the Buccaneers football team, the Gasparilla Festival, palm trees, oppressive heat, and the fucking lovebugs. Fucking lovebugs. If anyone ever found a way to eradicate the damn pests, Grey Holden had no doubt they could be president or anything else they wanted. Not the climate a native of Montana would have chosen for his headquarters. But the choice had not been his. Circumstances called the shots on this one.

He leant back in his chair and listened to what she had to say. “The news that brought us back to Nassau was something unexpected and horrible, and so we left in a rush, not bothering to pack anything. Which is why I didn’t bring my laptop back. I apologize for the confusion, but what you saw on this laptop is not evidence, but a start of what would be my novel,” Tami started as the whole room buzzed in small conversation. Her mother and sister were the most confused, since they knew Tami has never talked about writing a book before.

She instructed her best friend and rushed to the bathroom. "What's this?" Tasha found something on her desk. she picked up the booklet and turned the pages, "A new novel?" she exclaimed. "Wait!" Arielle shouted from the bathroom, she had the habit to write it down instead of typing her stories, she used her gift to write 2-3 chapters of her new novel last night before going to bed. She rushed out with the toothbrush still on her hand. "Give that to me." "Nope. You're writing a new novel? A romance novel at that?" Tasha ran around the room reading the notes.

"You nervous about Tampa, sunshine?" "A little. First big trip with you under my watch." I smiled, dimples showing. "Don't make me chase you around the hotel." He chuckled soft, his knee brushing mine under the tray table. "Might be worth it if you catch me." The flight went quick with him next to me. We didn't touch much, but the air felt thick between us. When we landed in Tampa, the warm air hit me like a blanket as we stepped off. Florida felt different from Boston's chill.

Would it be moving too fast though? Over the next several days we have narrowed it down to two locations; Las Vegas and Tampa. Some pros to Las Vegas is that it’s really hot and hardly rains so we could enjoy the outdoors almost year round. Some Tampa pros are that it’s hot year round, has fall temperatures as well which is nice, no snow however it does rain. Moving to Tampa keeps Josh closer to his family in South Carolina as well than moving clear across the country. Tampa it is! The guys are excited to be moving to the beach and honestly so is Amy. Amy is still torn but what is really keeping her here? Nothing.
