She scooped up the tea and placed it into the covered bowl. She poured it over with the boiling water into the pot next to her. The steam carried the fragrance of the tea as it rose. The heat gradually settled in the tea smoke. A familiar feeling that I had not felt for a long time washed away the desolation in my heart. My mind was empty. At the next moment, Amelia realized that Nicole was quite near the kettle of boiling water as well. She retracted her gaze, ignoring what just happened. Amelia was indeed skilled in tea brewing. Mr. Johnson sipped on the tea and praised her. "Great skills." Nicole put her teacup down and chimed in, "Ms. Sinclair, you really brew a great pot of tea. I question, wrinkling my nose, and Cole smirks. "Decaffeinated tea. It's camomile. It's relaxing." He informs me, and I stare at him blankly. "Honey, if I wanted to relax, I would have stayed in bed. I got the coffee because I need to wake up." I argue, and Cole shrugs while he sips my latte and moans in delight.

I sighed and turned away from the window. “Tea for you my lady,” she said, offering the tea to me. I smiled and got the tea from her, taking a sip. Its sweet taste made my tongue dance in delight. I could never get used to this. “What kind of tea did you say this was again?” I asked. Anthonia looked lost for a second and she scratched her forehead as she tried to recall. “It’s from a rare herb, my lady,” she said. “A herb that is not grown around these parts.”

Gently, the steamy liquid flushed towards the tea cup, and Nova handed it over to her, before adjusting on the sofa chair. "You look stressed out lately." Her hands moved towards her hair and she tucked a strand diligently into its place.

For a moment, it brightened the whole room, chasing away the grey that pressed against the windows. Tea. Of course it was tea. This wasn't Nochten with its bitter coffee and sharp edges.
