It felt like home---funny since she was indeed in her apartment.
She scanned the room. It was still as she vaguely remembered it to be years ago. The glass panel wall with a panorama window in between that slides open across from the door carried light to the room that brought it to life compared to the dim hallway. The glass walls may be covered with a white curtain; it was thin enough for sunlight to penetrate inside. Tools such as various papers, pencils, pens, brushes, rulers, sketchbooks, cutting tools, tapes, paints, canvas boards, acrylics, palettes, easels and varnishes were scattered on every edge of the floor; some inside their designated containers and others just neatly piled.
