Nyx Stay Night Novels & Stories

The valley night was clear, stars sharp like broken glass. I sat on the porch steps—Aiden—beer gone warm in my hand, listening to the wind picking up, slow. Too slow. Like it was waiting. Nyx came out, quiet, wrapped in my old jacket, face pale in the moonlight. “She’s in her room again. Staring at the wall. Won’t talk.” I set the beer down and pulled her into my lap. She fit there perfectly, like always, but her body trembled faintly.

She explains. Hal looks at me concerned. "Yeah, okay." I say, staring straight ahead at the nurse trying to avoid Hal's concerned gaze. "Alright. Now, do you have a place to stay for the night Mr..." She checks her clipboard. "...Xavier Lucian?" She asks. I look down at my hands. "Oh Xavier, you can come stay with me if you like." Hal offers. I think about it for a bit. Hal does seem extremely nice. "I have to attend school though, like how far away is it from your house? Just so I know the distance I'd have to walk." I ask.

“Do you want to scare Alpha Orion about Selene? You know their hearing wakes before they do.” A few quiet laughs slipped out, careful not to disturb the stillness. “What now?” someone asked. “Let us tell him that if Selene does not wake in four days, she will not wake again.” Nyx smiled like she enjoyed the thought a little too much. “You are terrible,” Elara said, though her lips twitched. “She will be asleep for a long time anyway. She burned herself out,” Nyx replied. A quick knock landed on Nyx’s head. She groaned and rubbed it, still smiling. Some people are just built that way, and Nyx was one of them.

Nancy murmured through the link, "Of course, Alpha, I'm letting her go right now. By the way, I am so happy you found our Luna." Stepping out of the MindLink, Nancy looked across the table at Britney. "Lunchtime is over, we should head back up." Britney nodded, standing up. "It was really nice meeting you, Nancy." "Let's meet for lunch again tomorrow. Bye!" Nancy said, sharing a warm goodbye hug before both women headed back toward their respective offices.

“This is it.” “What is?” “We’re not waiting anymore.” I blinked. “What do you mean?” “We need to get out of this room.” My stomach twisted. “Nyx…” “I can’t stay here any longer, Lyra.” Her frustration poured through the bond. “I need to run. I need to feel the forest under my paws. I need to be in my fur.” I swallowed. “I know… but how?” “We can trick Mia.” Nyx offered. “That won’t work.” “Then we fake a medical emergency.”

Niklaus looked vague when her eyes stared tenderly with floating tears. Forcing her lips upwards as if the smile could solve it all she said. " I should probably go " " Wait! " Frowning with a bleary thought Niklaus tried to stop her but she disappeared into the darkness. * You have a new message * Devil: I'll come get you tomorrow for work. After reading his text Jane shut her eyes leaning on the closed door, filtering everything that has been happening. " What is going on? Chuckled! “ Well, Yes, Wife… I know who you are. You would remember too if you slowed down on the drinks like I said yesterday.” sexy responded. “Would you like to sit while I give you a recap that might jog your memory on our adventures the night before?” he asked. I sat down and kept my mouth shut before I further embarrassed myself. Ethan’s POV

Adam replied with an obvious smile. I paused. I then looked into Adam's eyes. "After you leave this room, please erase all your memories of this night or morning. Pretend we haven't met today, and don't make any suspicious moves. We agreed to this." I held out my hand in front of Adam. Adam took it, shaking my hand as proof that we were going to forget what had happened that night. "Mahira!" called a voice from outside. "Mahira!" the man shouted again when he didn't hear my reply from inside.

Harold finally caved to their relentless curiosity, "Okay, okay, no more questions. We're off to Lunaris Inn later for some stargazing." Out of nowhere, Selena piped up, "Lunaris Inn, that's the spot for lovers—pricey and oh-so-romantic. It's open just once a month, and our Alpha snagged the grandest suite. They say it's a glass palace that glows wild and beautiful in the moonlight... Talk about a couple goals for our alpha and his mate." My polite grin was on the verge of cracking. I was in the dark about such intimate plans, yet Selena was in the know before me.
