Old Man Consequences Novels & Stories

" I won't hurt them but my dear you still lost the bet now didn't you? So there must be consequences. Okay? " " Consequences? " The old woman nodded. "But don't worry," she said, her voice softening. "It won't be anything too terrible. In fact, it may even be something good. All you need to do is to keep an open mind, and be ready for whatever comes your way." She smiled, and her eyes shone with a strange light. "Ready?" David swallowed hard, his heart thudding in his chest. But he knew he had no choice. He nodded. "I'm ready."

"You'll have me to deal with.” "Well, I tried,” he said and stood up. "We can still do it without you anyway.” He sighed and beckoned on them to leave; they walked past me and went further a bit before the old man paused. He turned to me with a pitiful stare. “You’re making a big mistake, White Wolf,” he said. "And you better prepare yourself for the consequences.” He turned, and they continued down the woods in the same direction they came. I kept my eyes on them, watching them from a distance to make sure they were leaving.

"It’s a slow-acting cold poison. I’ve been taking hot herbal medicine, so the cold and heat counteract each other. If it were more severe, it could cause a disruption in my body, but since I haven’t been home for long, I’ve taken a small amount, so the harm is minimal." The old lady breathed a sigh of relief. "Thank goodness we found out in time. If we hadn’t, you could have suffered serious internal damage. With your legs..." She wiped away her tears, heartbroken over her youngest son. He already couldn’t walk, and if his health were further damaged, what would happen to him? The old man’s expression turned cold as he reflected on what Russell had told him earlier. He spoke solemnly, "So, y

“You’re acting completely out of character!” “What do know about my fucking character, Oldy?” I snorted. “You shot hundreds of darts at a lone girl and then dragged her to be locked up by the asshole Alpha King to be his broodmare. When she refused to be his whore, would you call that acting out of character? What kind of man are you? Have you ever asked yourself that? Perhaps you can’t stand looking at yourself in the mirror if you still have an ounce of conscience?” Oldy’s face turned purple in rage, but shame flickered in his hard eyes.

The old man's voice sounded alright, leaving me wondering when he actually recovered from his real illness. “I hope you're alright, Grandpa. You've got everyone worried,” I murmured, not hiding my disappointment. Besides, what if Thomas Sinclair had actually succeeded? What if that guy had managed to poison him with carbon dioxide? I guess Grandpa was in collusion with the nurses who alerted us. “Come on, Olivia… Don't be mad at this old man. Theo Wellington couldn't do all the work by himself. One has to be more cunning than his enemies.” Yet, it's very dangerous.

Sometimes it was better to let things play out. “Mm. Old man Cabbage asked me to come over today. He says the weird noises are back.” Old man Cabbage was the oldest man in the village at ninety-three years old, yet he was a fit as a fiddle. He lived alone in an extremely old house that creaked even more than the orphanage. His wife died a long time ago and unfortunately they never had any children of their own. After Anderson and Carson went over a few times to help fix certain things in his house, he took a great liking to them both. He considered them his children and grandson. Understanding that, both young men could not bring themselves to charge the old man. The old man insisted on payi

the old man said and left. They followed the old man with their gaze as he walks away. Even the way Mr. Johansson walks, the sadness carried by the old man could be seen. “What happened to him? Chuck asked him with astonishment. Andrius shrugged his shoulder. “I don’t know. It’s like he got a broken heart.” Chuck smiled and shook his head. “That won’t happen to me,” he said. “You can’t tell that, dude. Who knows? You’re such a playboy, you don’t know where karma hits you. So, beware of what you say,” Andrius said.

My brows knitted in confusion . " I said stay away from my son ...didn't you have done enough damage to him ...are you still not satisfied " the old man said . You should be grateful for his leniency and to reward him, you ought to be submissive or face the consequences of your action. Another elder, her sharp eyes scanning me like a recalcitrant child, added: "You cannot continue to act like an imp. You do as you are told or be dealt with accordingly." Dealt with accordingly? The words sounded in my mind like the decisive snap of a guillotine’s blade. Shivers ran down my spine. The elders threw obscenities at me, but I didn't move. My apparent passivity irritated them. Softly but firmly, the youngest elder remarked, "There is only one thing you can do. Follow instructions or face consequences."

the old man sighed as he put his great-grandchild in his arm. Instead of answering, Grace leaned her head on Mister Hunt’s shoulder. With her tiny fingers, she clutched the old man’s shirt again, ready to continue the journey. “Okay,” Mr. Hunt muttered as he bent the knees, strengthening the support. With the extra weight on one arm, the old man struggled to get up from the grass. However, after taking a deep breath and groaning, he was finally able to stand up even though his knees and waist felt cracked. “You don't have to worry, Sunshine. This is the consequence of humans when they live long. But, it’s not a problem for me. As long as you and Grace are happy, I don't mind at all,” Mr. Hun
