There was still no news and couldn't connect them through phone call or mind-links. A wild knocking on the door brought their attention, one of the men under Jayden's command came in. His eyes were full of fear. "The Omega camp is under attack!" They jumped right away to the car and rushed over to the camp. Eris' wolf was begging to go out scared for his little human's life.

He turned to Belinda, his eyebrows furrowing from confusion at first, but quickly straightening out. "Because you have no proof." His frown was replaced with a glare. "I've known for a long time now that you aren't a true offspring of the late alpha, and that's why you were born an omega. You're angry, that's understandable. They were horrible to you, after all. But that is nothing out of the ordinary in the werewolf world! Omegas will be discriminated against, and illegitimate daughters will be treated badly by the legitimate ones. It isn't right, I know, but none of it is out of line. You had no right to come for my pack!"

I rushed to Carla and hugged her. She was sobbing. "S-spare me." I touched her shoulder, but my fingers were trembling. I understood her feelings.
