This story takes place in the esteemed Heaven and Hell, following Ashton Caliel (age 8-23) the caring, handsome King of Heaven, in his journey from only a prince to the leader of his vast kingdom. At the age of 8, the narrator shows the final moments before Ashton's princely training truly begins, bringing any childhood experiences to a halt. After a brief brush with an icy death, he spends his final free moments in front of the family fireplace. We skip time to the age of 18, Ashton training with his personal guard and close friend Matt (28). This was the day his father and current king was to sign another peace treaty with the King of Hell. Out of curiosity he took a peak at the demon king and came to find Damien Umbra (23-28) sultry, charismatic and flirty king of Hell. They did not officially meet at this time despite locking eyes as the demon laid an ominous future on the angel king. Very soon the prince would take the throne. After a second encounter with the demon king that resulted in heavy flirting, much to the new kings surprise, they had not met again for weeks. A single gift led the king to make a secret visit to Hell to interrogate the other king. During this visit Damien plays off his interest in the angel as only a fun game. This is to go on for years with only brief visits and gifts, causing the angel king to slowly fall for Damien in the process. Damien visits Ashton in the night, leaving a small gift for the angel to wake up to. Ashton is to accept this gift, but the council of angels in heaven give him trouble when they are to find out about this secret relationship.

"You whore!" A masculine voice. "You philanderer!" A feminine voice. "I'll kill you in this house!" He bellowed as he charged straight to the woman and started beating her up. The little boy stood at the door and watched his parents go about their daily routine, tears spilled from his eyes. He stood in the shadows, just watching and crying. If he speaks out loud, they'll remember him and his father will beat him also. No one remembers him. Not unless they want to beat him too. Then he saw the blow, heard the awful sound. The blow that made a difference. The blow that made that day stand out from every other day. His mom stopped screaming, she laid there on the floor, staring into nothingness. Dead. "Gia." His dad paused mid-beating. No answer. "Gianna!" He patted her white arms turned red from being beaten. Terror filled the little boy's system, a sound escaped his mouth, drawing the man's attention. "Oops. I've forgotten about you." He said to the little boy. "Mom's dead..." The little boy said in a tiny voice. The man looked down at the lifeless white woman, "Seems like it." He looked at the boy with an eye filled with menace. "You'll pretend you didn't see a thing. You'll......" The siren rang outside. The police had arrived. A neighbour had alerted them when he heard the noise. He watched as the policemen pointed their guns at his father. He watched as they took his father away. He remained hidden, his blue eyes returning to the woman who laid on the floor, with eyes as blue as his. She was staring right at him. Finally, she sees him. Only in death, did she really see him. Something died in that little boy that day. Replaced with bitterness.

A dark and gloomy villa stood in the middle of the barren landscape, hidden from sight by a perched hedge. It was phenomenal and spectacular, but it makes it appear to have succumbed to a sullen and ominous atmosphere, both inside and out. A lanky hedge and gnarled shrubs give off the impression that the house has indeed been overlooked. The rainstorm seeping from the sewer pipes made the place appear miserable and dispirited. The window frames were all padlocked and bricked up in steel frames and woods, as if what was inside would have been too grotesque to see, trying to give the impression that someone must have attempted to prevent something horrible from escaping. People have claimed that the residence was plagued by the witch who died there, but there has been no tangible evidence to substantiate their claims. It was even widely speculated that the villa was venomous and mowed down the leaves of trees that come into direct contact with its concrete pillars. People also construed a terrifying presumption that whoever tries to enter the house will never make it out alive because there is something inside that you would never dare to see with your very own eyes. Whatever was real or not, it was unmistakably foreshadowing, exponentially cold and savage at a hundredth of a thousand glances. A breathtaking doll sat competently on a rocking chair inside the house. Waiting complacently for someone brave and heroic enough to unravel the abominable and ghoulish mystery and paradox behind her enchanting, spine-chilling smile.
