I wonder how Octavia could deal with the temptation so easily. "Do you think Octavia is a vegetarian, too?" She suddenly asked about the same person I was thinking of. I recall the first time Octavia heard about my eating habit, she had looked at me like she was being told about a lion eating carrots. Maybe, 'vampire' and 'vegetarian' are two words that don't belong together. "How can I know that?" I said, feeling a little annoyed. "Well, you both seem exactly the same to me," she said.

I just don't like veggies in them. I know it sounds weird, but they grow on the ground, so there could be hidden bugs in them, especially the broccoli." I said, waving my hands in the air.

Jamie walked out with the teacher, glancing back at me every few steps. Sitting in the first row, I suddenly said somewhat mischievously, "Do you know why I ate more vegetables at home?" Jamie turned around, a puzzled expression on his face. I continued, "Because you didn't eat any vegetables, I was afraid you would be malnourished. I had to coax you into eating them. Only when I ate a lot of vegetables would you eat a few. So you think I love vegetables. And, actually, I love watching horror movies, but neither you nor your dad likes them, so I catered to you and watched other movies."

Blaze examined the vegetables and noticed a strange smell associated with them. His mind flashed with a particular slow poison he read about recently from one of Bella's books. 'All of these vegetables smell like the weedy poison I read about' he thought. If he just read about it, then he wouldn't have recognized it so readily. He also saw the weed himself and the smell is so toxic, it stuck with him more than the other kinds of slow poisons he saw that day. Blaze returned the vegetables back to the villagers. "Don't eat these vegetables. Dispose them somewhere no one can find them" Blaze instructed.
