My Mate is a Vampire Princess

My Mate is a Vampire Princess

Only snakes, worms, frogs, and insects were to live in the Elfin Forest. The wild plants and trees that live in the forest thrive. Even though an invisible mist protected the Elfin Forest, the sunlight and rain still greeted the forest. They stood before the only oak tree in the garden behind Orlan's workspace. Azzura's purple eyes flashed brightly. She was looking for something in the oak tree. "We can get through this tree." Azzura nodded. Orlan and Lucia didn't know what Azzura meant.

A Breeder For The Alpha King

A Breeder For The Alpha King

Beta O'Horan and The King, dressed in their hunting attire, made their way through the dense forest. Moonlight filtered through the canopy, casting dappled shadows on the leaf-strewn ground. The crisp autumn air carried with it the scent of damp earth and fallen leaves, mingling with the anticipation of the hunt.

Frozen Heart (the Heart Series, book 2)

Frozen Heart (the Heart Series, book 2)

Her eyes moved to Nordmar—the only kingdom to have magic ore. Normal weapons can’t kill an Orc, only those made from magic ore. And Nordmar had plenty of it. If legends were true, then all the mountains of Nordmar had magic ore. Her father wanted to gain control over the magic ore mines and, from there to one day, control all Kingdoms. He would have been the one to set the price for each magic ore nugget. Secretly, Ayla was glad her father had been defeated because Nordmar always had a fair trade for the magic ore. All Kingdoms needed it because Orcs would attack villages and kill or take prisoners back to the Uncharted Lands. And while no one knew what happened to those taken by the Orcs, A

The Nymph’s Alpha

The Nymph’s Alpha

The night air feels crisp and fresh, there’s a small chill on the breeze that feels refreshing, I can hear crickets chirping all around me and the small birds call out to each other in a beautiful chorus that takes me back to my childhood, to the long summer nights that I would spend hidden in the gardens of the pack house or roaming the forest searching for something, anything that would protect us from Alister. Summer is almost over and the autumn nights will set in fast. The waxing crescent moon hangs perfectly in the cloudless sky, bright twinkling stars fill the black void, giving it warmth. The smell of pine and wet grass mixes with the fresh water and moss from the rocks that line the

Witch Of The Forest

Witch Of The Forest

"What are you doing?! Your master is ordering you! Take his hand now!" Ariana jumped and took Mike's hand with glassy eyes. Biting her lips, her face grew paler each second. As Mike saw her glassy eyes and the red lips with she bit on. A rustic blood scent wafted to his nose in sequence. His brows knitted in a tune, he looked at the girl which was filled with wounds, but the scent of sap was stronger from her back.

The Exiled Dragon

The Exiled Dragon

He rubbed the side of my head, placing a chaste kiss on my forehead. We climbed out of the hole in the middle of the forest, only to be met with dead bodies lying on the ground in pools of blood. A fire had started and pieces of vampires were being put on top of the blaze. I rubbed my arms together, trying to seek warmth when I knew very well my dragon could keep me warm. It was now a new nervous habit that I needed to break. King Orion pointed his sword to various piles of vampires, while the dead witches and warlocks were pulled out of the forest and into an open clearing to decide what to do with them. Witches and vampires that were captured were bound, gagged, and sat up against several

Alpha Morax: Your Eyes Like The Finest Gold

Alpha Morax: Your Eyes Like The Finest Gold

++ {…} ++ "Are those rouges?" Curious whispers came from the gap in the trees and I knew I was finally here. I could smell the scent of Morax among the pack, a speck in a sea of other people. Heightened anxiety filled the air the closer I got, following the path into a heavy cast of sunlight. It beamed past the branches, highlighting the dense forest. "Maybe, what are they doing here?"

DEFYING FATE

DEFYING FATE

Sophie interrupted them, saying, "Eve, what does this devil's forest look like?" "Glad you asked. From my knowledge, it was a cursed forest where any supernatural power doesn't work. From what I heard, the trees in the dark forest were nicotine-brown and alive; those orcs were gobbling meat and grinding on bone. Gloomy scrubs hid dangerous creatures such as trolls and dark beasts."

In Love With The Lycan Alpha

And that was something he would never openly admit to. The sky was painted with shades of orange and pink as the sun slowly descended toward the horizon. The air was crisp with a hint of pine scent, typical of the dense forests that covered the western pack's lands. Tall, ancient trees with thick trunks and gnarled roots stood tall, forming a natural canopy that filtered the sunlight, casting dappled shadows on the forest floor.

Frequently Asked Questions

Summer in 'Orcus' wraps up with this bittersweet yet hopeful vibe that lingers long after you close the book. The protagonist, Summer, finally confronts the Witch of the Birds, and it’s not this grand battle you’d expect—it’s quieter, more introspective. The witch isn’t just a villain; she’s lonely, trapped in her own magic, and Summer’s empathy becomes the key to unraveling everything. The tower of birds collapses, but not violently—it dissolves into freedom, literally and metaphorically.

What stuck with me is how Summer’s journey isn’t about 'winning' in a traditional sense. She doesn’t slay the witch or claim a throne. Instead, she learns to carry her own scars and stories home, changed but not broken. The ending leaves Orcus itself ambiguous—is it a dream, a parallel world? The book doesn’t spoon-feed answers, and that’s why I love it. It trusts you to sit with the uncertainty, just like Summer does.
