Orc X Elf 소설 & 이야기

He was from the Asttland kingdom far away from here. The third man was named Zephyr, a spiritual, otherworldly seer with the ability to communicate with the gods as it was typical of his people from far in the south. The last on the scroll was Thorne of the sword. Thorne was a passionate, intense sorcerer with a talent of pyromancy. These were the four men I was expected to look out for. I have never met any of these men before my entire life, and I wondered what meeting them tonight would be. Would they agree to be with me because I'm a Queen or because they actually want to be with me?

My public image needed to be protected at all costs. “Don’t be too hard on yourself.” Her eyes gleamed a different color—one I hadn’t seen before. Was she truly cursed, as the elders prophesied? No. I did a mental nod. She didn’t look cursed—only weak, like every other Omega. “I can help.” She curled her fingers into her palm, drawing a little blood. “I want to make him beg for his life.” I laughed honestly. How could someone like her have a chance? She looked at me angrily, the mark on her neck glowing faintly. “I’m serious.”

For a beauty that she possesses is something the mortals would abuse but at the same time, many would kill to covet. “Esmeralda is a vampire, at least that is what was written in The Orbs.” A what? Her confusion must have been so obvious that Max placed down his brush and curiously looks at her. “Don’t tell me you have not heard of the vampires? What about the witches?” The silence from Elinor was too loud. Her confused face was enough to answer Max’s questions. “You are a fine lady to be jesting about something that is very common knowledge to all. Surely, you must have read about them creatures somewhere.”

“I want to talk to Silarg! Silarg!” At that moment a small stone elf, with a large beard with no hair on his head, much older than the others Elizabeth knew, appeared in a moment. “Tell me, Miss Harmony. What happened?” asked Silarg, smiling. “One of the children may have been caught by an ogre!” But the stone elf's smile didn’t disappear when he heard these words. “It’s impossible. We don't have that in the Centre of mystical and non-mystical creatures. You’re dead if you meet such a creature, needless to speak about trying to catch it and bring it here. Maybe who said she saw that, got it wrong. Who said such nonsense?”

Saffron and the rest of the warriors followed him, fur exploding over flesh as they launched toward the treeline, howls ringing through the night. I turned back to Elara in my arms, who was still thrashing. The Oracle kept on chanting, holding Elara's head. Then her body shimmered, bones snapping, fur bursting forth, but it wasn’t just the physical change. The mark on her hands ignited. At the same time, a matching mark flared on her forehead. The Oracle gasped and stopped chanting mid-breath.

A veil of shadow, a simple but potent illusion, still clung to their features, obscuring them in a personal twilight. Delicate, pale fingers rose to the cowl of the cloak. With a careful, almost reverent tug, she pulled the hood back. The clinging shadow dissolved like mist in the sun, revealing a woman of striking, ageless beauty. Her hair was the color of dark ink, a stark contrast to her alabaster skin. Her light brown eyes, flecked with shimmering gold, remained fixed on the ground. But it was the graceful, tapered points of her ears that stole my breath. An elf. Here.

The high-ranking officials are mostly the creatures and only a handful are human while the servants are all humans. So far, I found out that there are werewolves, vampires, demons, elves, fairies, ogres and giants. Surprisingly, unlike what earth pictured them, the creatures of Eldoria are mostly gorgeous people. They are not hideous or scary-looking. The vampires are as white as snow with different eye colors and they move quickly. The demons have horns, but their horns come in different shapes. The elves are thin and they have vines wrapped around their arms and legs. They have pointed ears and sharp eyes. So far, I have only seen three giants and I think they are at least 8 feet tall. The

Huricana pointed to a spot on the map. There were rumors that the elves have tattoos on their shoulder of a phoenix; They trained the Kingdom not to show any emotion, as enemies could use it as a weakness. The tattoo changed color with their mood. They painstakingly kept these tattoos covered so their opponents would be at a disadvantage, It was also said that some have psychic abilities and that they could read minds, feel emotions from others, and, in rare cases, could move things with their mind. “Yeah, and are notoriously hard-headed.” Ari pointed out.

And Violet—Violet stood to Kael’s left, her hands alive with threads of silver light. Across from us, Eloria’s smile thinned. She spread her fingers as though coaxing the night itself to listen. The wolves at her feet bristled, their ears pressed flat, but none dared move without her word. “Three wolves. Two witches. An Alpha. An outcast. A traitor child,” Eloria said softly, her gaze flicking over each of us before landing on me. “And at the center—our little Crimson flame.” My throat tightened. I couldn’t speak.

As we pass the magical creatures, Jess looks at the Salynx in confusion. “A Salynx is a mix between a Sable and a Lynx; sometimes it’s more Lynx than Sable but it’s mostly Sable Lynx.”, I explained to her. Continuing walking until we could see Mr. Sapping; Mr. Sapping is a half-breed, dark elves; this can get mixed up with Svartálfar, which is black elves. Many people are wary of dark elves, but since he’s the only one who sells potions, the town isn’t too wary of him.
