Veil Of A Secret Vow

Veil Of A Secret Vow

Lysandra looked toward Orion with tears in her eyes. "You never told me." Orion smiled sadly. "You would have tried to help." "And you would have died." Silence settled once again. The Legacy whispered, "He accepted eternity..." "...so humanity could keep its name." Elyra understood. Everyone had misunderstood Orion. History remembered him as the first monster. But he had willingly become the jailer. Not for power. For sacrifice. Caelan clapped slowly. "Beautiful story." His smile widened. "But every prison eventually breaks."

The Accused Mate

The Accused Mate

"Your mother promised you to me before you were even born." Orion limped forward. "That's not true. Mother would never—" "Never what? Sacrifice one child for another? But she did." I turned my gaze to him. "Who do you think suggested putting Amara away? Who put fears into your father's ear night after night?" I could see the memories clicking into place behind Orion's eyes. Good. Seeds of doubt were often more strong than any spell. "You don't understand what mate bonds truly are," I continued, my voice stronger now as I fed off their confusion. "They weren't created by the Moon Goddess, as your legends say. They were made by me."

HIS BALLERINA HUMAN MATE

HIS BALLERINA HUMAN MATE

He was trying to stay calm, to keep his Alpha composure, but I could feel the unease rolling off him in waves. Orion stepped closer, his usual smirk nowhere to be found. “I’ve heard of this before,” he said carefully. My breath hitched. “You have?” He nodded, expression grim. “Not exactly like this, but—there are stories. Legends of wolves born under a rare celestial event, wolves who carry something more than just the strength of the pack.” Zara scoffed. “You mean like some kind of blessing?” Orion’s gaze darkened. “Or a curse.”

THE TRUE MONARCH

THE TRUE MONARCH

They wander quite a lot too but alone. Fifth are The Orions. The American line that descended down. They were also quite frank like the Soleil. They weren't interested in overcoming The James because they were half faerie. One of their ancestors helped a faerie and were granted the faerie powers. That is how they are connected to the Europeans. They shine in the dark due to their mixture of blood and that connects it to their name, The Orions.

Once Upon An Alpha

Once Upon An Alpha

Just a week and a half later, on the tenth of June, he carved his bloody warpath to Lousianna. I dropped the book as I read the words blessed wolf. Orion’s mother was a blessed wolf; no wonder this became a secret. Leto had been hunted down because of her bond with the moon goddess. Clearly, Orion was just trying to protect Rose, and I was pouting like a toddler because I was out of the loop when my own mate didn’t even know. I walked slowly towards Brigid’s cabin; my feet felt like they were trudging through a muddy swamp. I had always caught on quickly to everything, but I felt like I was lost behind in the dust right now.

This story is so good!! The author seems to put time and effort behind their characters!! And while peoples choices can be frustrating, baby beta looking at you, they all make sense with how the story is progressing and what’s happened! Couldn’t recommend this book enough!
Space Cow
I love this book. The author has created a wonderful world with well thought characters that I actually care about. The characters aren't perfect, they each have their own flaws and personalities. Each of them have grown in their own ways.

The Triad Wolf

The Triad Wolf

Pyrite whispered, “We are sorry. We thought that it would be best because we are both interested in men, we didn’t want you to feel like you weren’t enough for us because you are female.” Upon reaching our room, Pyrite walked up to the door and opened it. I quickly walked in with Sapphire, then Pyrite walked in and locked the door. I sat her on her feet and we both held onto her. “I, Onyx Heartsfire-” I said. “And I, Pyrite Heartsfire-” Pyrite said next. “Accept you, Sapphire Moonstone, as our mate and Queen,” we finished together. All we heard was her screams as her and her wolf's emotions returned with full force. She screamed and cried.

Charming the CEO

She was fascinated by the way that different cultures had woven tales of love into the night sky. "And then there's the story of Orion and Scorpio," Eddie said, pointing to two constellations on opposite sides of the sky. "According to Greek mythology, Orion was a great hunter who boasted that he could kill any animal on earth. This angered the goddess Gaia, who sent a giant scorpion to kill him."

The Alpha King’s Hated Mute Luna

The Alpha King’s Hated Mute Luna

“Perhaps. Perhaps not.” *** And that was it. I never thought of it again, until now. I blink, pulled back into the present by Ezra’s silence. His hand is still over mine, warm and steady. “Orion fathered me late in life,” he says. “Near the end, actually. He wandered far beyond the borders of the Northlands… and found the Garden. A place most think is a myth. But it’s real, hidden deep within the Southlands.” My throat suddenly feels tight.

The Enemy's Kiss

The Enemy's Kiss

(Brielle’s POV) As I listened to Cole telling me about the story of their great-great grandparents, Selene, the moonlight goddess, and Ambrogio, I thought it was nothing but a fictitious tale to entertain adults and scare children. Although the Order of the Orion had all these stories written in one book, nothing was said about their vampire children living on earth with different ideals. They were all the same; they created, drank their blood to be like them, and enslaved the ones they turned. There was no story about those kinds whom the gods blessed and were given a chance to live among people.

The Dance of Fates: Bellatrix

The Dance of Fates: Bellatrix

"That night, the Krysts and the Særi ust Trūx witnessed two lights shining. One was the star Bellatrix, the third brightest star of the constellation Orion. A female warrior. Chloe Rein. And the other was the moon of the night, the only warrior who can keep the star in its place while providing it assistance. Both of them bloomed at the same night. A prophecy within a prophecy. This Mnemosyne Kryst was beyond delighted to behold their light."

This gave me a great fantasy-themed anime vibes, those series which took place in an entirely different world with loads of adventure to occur. Those who are into adventures with multiple unique characters to choose from would defo enjoy reading this piece.
