Rise of the Bloodstone King

Rise of the Bloodstone King

Balthazar shook his head, his mind still working out what he saw. "What?" I asked. "There was something else. The book just kept repeating a verse over and over again." "What was it?" "Something the shadows whispered right before Nesrin had released Dela. 'One shall rise, one shall fall. In a fight of fire and ice, a phoenix will be reborn.' It said it over and over again," I furrowed my brow. "You never mentioned it before." Balthazar shook his head. "It wasn't me they spoke to. It was Balor, and I thought it came true when your mother died, so we never talked about it."

This is a book to read!!! It takes you on a roller-coaster of emotions but is worth it. It's a relatively short novel but worth the read. I don't think I have ever read a book that made me feel so much. All I can say is WOW, what a Jewel of a book.

FADED (BOOK ONE)

FADED (BOOK ONE)

I can't stop thinking about everything, from the cave to Gabriel being my mate and then to saving the people. It is starting to become so depressing especially since I don't even have a clue where to find the moonstone. I have finished my mom's book and I haven't found anything useful again apart from the handwritten poem at the back. With everything worth sacrificing, I chose my own flesh. Out of the weak comes the strong And out of the strong comes the mighty. The purest of all. White as snow, pure as the blood in her veins. The war is coming. At the strike of the snow on the ground.

I’m happy he does, it’s just I don’t is all. “I know that look miss Savannah. One of my granddaughters is an Orphan. When she first came home and I made her some cocoa, I used to see that look quite often”. Wait… if she was an orphan… he sees the wheels turning. “Yes, my dear… not all families are linked by blood you know”.

that the money lent by the orphanage was just enough to last for a month. Good thing that my orphanage had an educational program which helped me finish high school and this aided me to get a job easily at the inventory department of Lyla’s Café. I must admit that everything went smoothly, maybe I was truly lucky. However, I still wanted to have that space wherein I don't have to think about anything, but even though I do, I don't want to become an empty space which is who I am at the moment. My thoughts went to a halt when I heard a loud bang from a harshly closed door and when I traced as to where it came from I saw a young lady wearing a light, white cocktail dress with hair so soft as t

A Reincarnated Luna

A Reincarnated Luna

The enchanting atmosphere ignited a spark within me, one that transcended charm and touched the realm of emotions. "Caleb, there's something I need to understand," I began, my gaze fixed on the intertwining vines that adorned the garden walls. He turned to me, his eyes reflecting the depths of a story he had yet to share. "Ask anything, Eliana. I owe you the truth." The truth—I craved it like the air I breathed. "What do you know about the Safe Haven Orphanage?" His eyes twitched and looked away. I faced him. He sighed, his eyes veiled with a mixture of regret and determination. "Safe Haven is an orphanage that I supported before."

The CEO’s Secret Triplets

The CEO’s Secret Triplets

Dante said. "There’s one thing you should know," Evelyn said, reaching into her pocket. She pulled out a final, small envelope. "The twelve orphans... they aren't the only ones. The project had a second location. In America. A place called 'The Orchard.'" Dante stopped, his hand on the car door. He looked at the envelope, then at Bella’s face on his phone screen. The labyrinth was never truly gone. It just changed its name. "Not tonight, Mother," Dante said, taking the envelope but not opening it. "Tonight, the orphans are just children. And the Orchard can wait for the morning."

I love the fact that Bella is hard on Dante and doesn't act like the victim that doesn't use his/her head. She establishes a clear line between professional work and her personal life too. The girl knows how to set her boundaries straight!! You should definitely check this book out!

Carrying Billionaire's Babies

Ora Cheme screamed urgently, "You still have eight minutes," the first person replied coldly to Ora Cheme and Autumn Ovis. "You..." Autumn Ovis gnash their teeth, but they are unable to stop them. "Take some clothing, Mom, and let's leave," I said. Autumn Ovis yanked Ora Cheme with gritted teeth. "No, I'm not going. What options do you have?" Ora Cheme has a lot of desperation in her eyes. They were orphans and widows with nowhere to go after Bard Ovis was apprehended.

"Orphanage? What do you mean orphanage? Aren't you the only daughter of Dalton Braiven? What happened? He sent you there?" Lea smiled sadly. "It's an old story that often makes me cry and laugh. I feel sad every time I remember it. The orphanage makes me cry because that's where the father threw his daughter away without thinking much. However, it was also in the orphanage that I met my best friend, who was always there and ready to support me until now, that is Jonathan.”
