J'ai protesté avec indignation : « Tout se fait selon l'ordre d'arrivée, j'ai choisi cette robe en premier, comment vous pouvez faire comme ça ? » Mais elle m'a regardée avec mépris et a dit : « Cette robe vaut cent mille euros, une pauvre comme toi peut se la permettre ? » « Je suis la sœur de cœur d'Alex Thomas, PDG du Groupe Thomas. À Paris, la famille des Thomas fait la loi ! » Quelle coïncidence, Alex n'était-il pas justement mon fiancé ? Je l'ai immédiatement appelé : « Ta sœur de cœur m'a volé ma robe de fiançailles, que proposes-tu de faire ? »

Tiens jusqu'à ce que Harper accouche. Je viendrai te chercher. » J'ai été alors enfermée dans une cave sale pendant huit mois, affamée, battue, humiliée. Le chef des malfrats m'a violée encore et encore. Et pourtant, Elias n'est jamais venu. Finalement, alors qu'ils étaient tous ivres, j'ai réussi à m'échapper.
