The Heir of the Light

The Heir of the Light

So I assumed we had no one else. “He gave your brother a special potion to appear dead. It wasn’t until years after that I found out the truth. He took your brother.” Potions? Magical gem? Oddly made sense to me. I didn’t say anything, waiting for her to tell me more. She moved the plates to her left and propped her arms on the table. “I said he really is the Devil because he currently rules the Underworld.” I stared at her. Contemplating again if she’s a crazy lunatic. I can process the potions and magic gems because I’ve seen it can be true. But Underworld? Like I said I don’t believe in those things. Just doesn’t sit right with me.

An Alpha's End

An Alpha's End

I waited for him in the exit of the garden. “I’m waiting, Lane.” When I felt his presence just behind me, I started to walk to my room. It wasn’t that far from the garden. I could feel him silently following behind me. We were both silent the whole time. And I was actually feeling better until I felt my knees weakening. Then I remembered that Amara gave me blood earlier. When half-bloods taste blood, their lust for blood will worsen. It’s either they’ll have to resist the thirst or just drink blood.

Tales of the Throne

Tales of the Throne

"Anyways, the war went on for hundreds of years, the killing and bloodshed was constant but eventually the war was ended by the King of Avingora." Katherine knew that there was no kingdom called Avingora, at least not in her time period. "Who's the King of Avingora?" "My cousin," Katherine turned her head to look at Lady Nicole who had spoken. Her face scrunched up in confusion but before Katherine could say anything, Nicole continued speaking. "Lucian Williams." Katherine was shocked, to say the least, "What happened to Avingora?" "The Kingdom was burnt to the ground during the final battle," said Lady Elizabeth.

Legacy of Power

Legacy of Power

No matter how long, someday he was going to talk or confide in someone who may later spill the beans. In every battle, casualties were inevitable as sanctioned by the Geneva Convention. There were always holy and unholy troops that gave directions to the winning platoon. Solo was on the left side of the equilibrium. His presence in Subi’s life was more redemptive than it was corporative. Consequently, the young beauty accepted the consequences of her wrongdoing and promised to brave it through to the end. She planned it well and exactly as she expected, results became visible five days later.

Beyond The Veil

Beyond The Veil

“His mother is one of the mysteries of both this estate and family but the girl servants like to gossip and as much as we discredit most of what they say, there was this one time we had strong suspicions it was correct—a very strong one. A maid, Marina, overheard a conversation between the old patriarch, Mr. Terence Hawthorne, and a cleaner at the office. He was paying her off. Her name was Martha Sterling.” Kallista schooled her expression carefully as she absorbed the information, her mind racing. “Wow,” she murmured. “That's something I guess. Did you ever confirm?” Delia studied her for a long moment. Then, she gave her a small, knowing smile. “If there’s one thing you should know about

OLIVER

OLIVER

“I’m glad you understand this Oliver. His too close presence vanished just as quick as it had become close. He was at a corner now, his jaw hardened and his gaze at a plain wall. “You both will grow into love, just as your mother and I did. Our both packs will merge, strengthening our armies, multiplying our resources, leaving us more than prepared against rogue attacks.” He stopped to take a breath and added, “There has been reports on something strange. Most said it's the rogues growing more powerful and had somehow placed their hands on some…magic.”

Every1 listen up! If they keep posting only 1 chapter a day, we shud simply stop reading. It is quite disorienting. Waiting a couple of weeks will solve 2 problems. 1) Enough chapters to keep it engaging. 2) More importantly, hurt their pockets. It could lead them to change this pathetic behaviour.

ive read up to 472 chapters but ive lost my phone 3 times so i keep having to start again from the beginning. Frustrating but i like the story and i like the central character so ill persevere yet again. I have to know if Leon gets back with Iris which i think he should get with Ariel or the other 1

Betrayed by my mate, Claimed by his father

Betrayed by my mate, Claimed by his father

With one hit on his neck, the fool passed out cold. Coward. “You!” I barked, pointing at the man that stood beside the one I’d dragged out. “What’s with him?” I asked, disgusted at how he was whimpering. I don’t recruit cowards, how the hell did he make it here? The man fell to his knees, his head bowed as he spoke. “He’s my younger brother, Overlord. And despite how he looks or acts, he’s strong. He just….” His voice trailed.

Frequently Asked Questions

I dug into 'Overlord' volume 17 like I was hunting for hidden loot, and what I found felt like a slow-burning chess match that still explodes when the pieces clash. This volume leans hard into the political and psychological aftermath of Nazarick's moves: Ainz is still consolidating power, but the story spends more time showing how those around him react — allies who embrace his vision, subordinates who quietly worry, and outside powers that begin to change their calculus. The heart of the plot is less about nonstop battles and more about the subtleties of dominance: diplomatic posturing, assassinations that almost succeed, and careful displays of force meant to intimidate without overreaching.

We also get several quieter, character-focused beats that matter. Some members of Nazarick carry out secret missions, and their methods reveal how ruthlessly calculated the Tomb’s leaders have become. There are scenes that peel back emotional layers — jealousy, loyalty, the weirdness of living under an undead overlord — which makes Ainz’s internal solitude and the loyalty of followers like Albedo and Demiurge feel more poignant. The novel toys with the idea that power can create its own loneliness, and it juxtaposes majestic displays of strength with intimate, unsettling moments where the human cost is hinted at.

By the end the volume sets up future tensions: new alliances form against Nazarick, and yet there’s a sense that Ainz’s web keeps tightening. It’s a satisfying mix of strategy, eerie domesticity inside the Tomb, and looming geopolitical shifts, and I walked away thinking this is where the series stretches its muscles in nuance rather than spectacle — which, to me, is delightfully sinister.
