Novel & Cerita Pain Pain Go Away

The door shut with a soft click, and the room became completely dark again. I lay back against the pillows, but the movement made the skin around my ribs pull tight. A hot wave of pain went through my side, making me clench my teeth until my jaw ached. I took short, shallow breaths, waiting for the burning to stop. The doctor said the medicine would keep the pain away, but the medicine was no match for the anger inside me right now.

A minute passed. All of a sudden, I feel the most excruciating pain zap me to the bone, rattling me from the bed. As if I'd been struck by a bolt of lightning, making me cry out in extreme pain. I feel something inside me awaken. Eager and desperate for release. Whatever it is, it's telling me to get up and ditch the covers of my bed. I close my eyes before rubbing my temple, performing small circles on both sides. I continue rubbing my temple wishing it would make me feel better yet it does anything but. A few seconds later, the aching stops but the pain had gone now to my body, sending jolts of pain to each bloody part of me.

Indianna shrugged and Greyson scoffed. "Don't lie to me, sugar. I'm not stupid," he said. "Okay, fine. The pain isn't bad though, it's not been as bad as it was at first. I think it might be over." Greyson sighed and shook his head. "No, I'm afraid it's not. The beginning of the process always hits hard at the start, then it eases off and hits hard again." "Oh." "It's why you need to see Doc. It'd be helpful if we can figure out when the pain is going to be bad again so we can prepare you for it."

"You should go. I'm fine." She helps me up and gave me one look of concern. I nodded my head to her and told her to go. With one last squeeze, she lets go and ran back to her spot. I took one deep breath and shut my eyes. The pain was slowly disappearing. As if it healed itself. I shuttered inside knowing that I would feel the same pain again when it reappears.

It was driving me crazy, and sometimes, I would feel a sharp pain in my chest because of it. I seemed to have jinxed myself, because just then, I felt a sharp pain inside of me. My eyes went wide as I tried to ignore the pain. Usually, it would go away after a few seconds, but this time, it was taking way longer than that. I cried out in pain, and soon, I was on my knees, rolling over because of the pain. "Someone, someone help me!" It wasn't going away the way it usually did, and this time, I thought I was going to die for sure!

My body felt like it was on fire, the heat was unexplainable. "Sorry, I'm sorry," I pleaded, gripping my tummy where the pain seemed to be concentrated. It felt like my intestines were digesting themselves and rotting at the same time. "That's better." He smirked, then snapped his fingers smoothly. The pain stopped immediately and the heat was cooled gradually. "Your friend will be like that for a while, I'm sorry to say." Then he disappeared into thin air with only a chilly draft the evidence he was ever here.

Blunt Pain By the fifth city, the adrenaline no longer masked the exhaustion. Axl’s body moved automatically. His mind drifted. Their shows were electric. Each crowd was louder than the one before. But when he stepped off stage, something inside him dipped too low. He shut himself inside the dressing room and sat on the floor, his back against the wall. He closed his eyes and breathed. Slow and controlled. He hadn’t lost his love for music. He just lost the place where he used to put everything down afterward.

Ash sighs, “That really sucks, is there really nothing that can help?” Ash seems ready to bring in any and all doctors to see if anyone can help her, only if Kai doesn’t get there first, “There’s no human pain medication that gets even close to helping, no magic can even touch it. I’ve tried everything. Ice is the only thing that helps when it’s between a six and eight, after that there’s almost no point in it. I can’t feel the ice at all, and the pain doesn’t fade any faster. I just have to wait for it to subside to the point where either ice will help again, or it stops.”

It looked like it would be more painful than she imagined. “Haha, don’t worry too much. The treatment will be done in half an hour time. A lot of people can normally endure the pain at the beginning of the treatment, then the peak of pain will come, and once you’ve endured the peak, the pain will slowly subside until your body no longer feels anything. Then the body is completely purified!”

I felt the edges of my vision start to blacken from all the pain that was tearing through my limbs. “Sir, she is going to black out again.” I heard a grumble. “Fine. That's enough for today.” I felt a prickle on my arm before more pressure and flinched at the next wave of pain that would soon undoubtedly rush through me. To my astonishment, the pain started to lessen and vacate my limbs. Slowly, I let out a breath I didn't know I was holding as the electricity started to leave my veins. I slumped against the table slowly, relishing in the newfound relief.
