I glanced back at Mirella, who bounced from one foot to the other in excitement.
“Yes,” she said, as if it were obvious. “Ten in the morning.”
“Ah…,” I moaned. I rolled my eyes and threw a pillow at her. She dodged it, laughing. “Why would they make it so early? Couldn’t they have chosen the afternoon?”
Mirella, still laughing, picked up the pillow and threw it back at me. “The church was booked and that was the only time.” Then she began to whine. “Get up, Aurora. Please…please…please.”
