She’s ready to run, and I can feel her anticipation coursing through us both. We don’t have to wait long before they trot back, Alcyone, Luna Allison’s wolf, and Geras, Greg’s wolf. Alcyone is big for a she-wolf, but she’s still smaller than Zanthe. Her pale grey fur is beautiful, with darker patches along her side and silver streaks across her head. Geras, on the other hand, is a hulking mass of dark brown fur with almost black flecks running along his back and shoulders. He’s a powerhouse, and not a wolf I’d want to mess with.

Some of the wolves look at us, as always, as Grey comes close for me to pet him. This has been kind of our routine lately, Grey has somewhat accepted me, maybe he even likes me. Whenever he’s close or with Puppy, he comes to me and lets me pet him. He continues to watch me most of the time, but of all the wolves here, apart from Puppy obviously, he’s the one I like most. At least he doesn’t treat me like an enemy and avoid me.

He peeks out from behind my legs when Dominick lets out a small yip. I have to admit Dominick is quite intimidating. He is black, but his fur is tipped grey. Dimitri’s wolf was solid grey with black-tipped fur. The pup walks up to him and sniffs him. Dominick licks his ear and the pup starts to play with him.

“What color are Patrick and Nick's wolves?” Creasing his brow, he looked at me questionably. “What does that matter?” Shrugging casually, I muttered that it was just a question. Turning away from me, Austin growled, “Patrick's wolf is gray, and Nick's is black like Nero.” My eyes widened as I gasped, then quickly covered my mouth. Gideon reappeared before us and exhaled deeply. Waiting for him to spill the beans, I was disappointed when he only asked us to accompany him.

She closed her eyes and tried to calm herself down, the car suddenly stopped. “And we’re here!” Selena said jumping out of the car. “Boys I have missed you.” “What the hell are those things?” Gage growled looking at the demon-looking mean dogs. “Demon dogs, you should know,” Selena said half smiling. “They are friendly.” She said petting them. “Come on Athena is waiting.” Jade walked closer to the demon dogs, they bowed to her and then wagged their tails waiting for her to touch them. Once she extended her hand to touch them they both licked her hands. “Good pups.” She said walking behind Selena.

I heard him getting closer, so I set a higher speed, and Aesira started slackening off. Shit. I forgot that nobody could keep up. My wolf, Rona, was swift and super pliable. I had never met another wolf capable of keeping pace with me. Edira sometimes had to use magic to hold on to my pace, especially when we were running from Orfeo's dark hunters. A dark hunter is a wolf with deep grey fur and a slender body. They are known for their tracking abilities and are very good at sneaking over a pack's border unnoticed. A well-trained dark hunter can even hide their scent for fifty miles.

I’m fairly certain that Curran rolled his eyes as he snorted and went over to his parents, Aodhan and Arienh. Alpha Aodhan was as black as Curran, while Luna Arienh was a beautiful silver gray.
